This modern house with ample space inside and out is in a quiet Narragansett neighborhood, halfway between Newport and Point Judith. Easy access off Route 1A to Wickford or over James Town Bridge.

Four spacious bedrooms, all with wood floors, comfortable bedding, dresser in all rooms. large capacity washer & dryer, newer kitchen appliances. Thorough interior house cleanings by reputable cleaning company.
You will have access to two dedicated kayaks located at the nearby Association Beach on the Narrow River, with life jackets and oars at the house. Beach/kayaks access is down the hill from the house, with parking available.

Centrally located, you will be within a short drive of four (4) popular Rhode Island Beach Areas:
• Narragansett Town Beach – classic New-England salt water beach – 5.5 miles south
• Easton Beach - popular surf beach w/ carousal and aquarium – 14 miles north
• Scarborough State Beach - popular and well known - 9 miles south
• Salty Brine (Galilee) State Beach - white sandy beach and the Roger Wheeler's (Sand Hill /Cove) State Beach - a family beach – 12.5 miles south (near Point Judith)

Enjoy the sounds of the surf, the clean sand, looking for sea glass, jumping the waves and the nearby snack shacks. Beach items are provided at the house for your use (beach cart, beach chairs, sand mat, bodyboard, umbrella, and cooler). Just pack up and go, so you have more time to enjoy the beach of your choice.

Upon returrn, freshen up in one of the two showers and use the new large capacity washer and dryer to get your beach amenities ready for the next day. (Please do shake off the sand first. :))

Newport, RI is less than 12 miles away with its famous Cliff Walk, numerous mansions, Grand Casino, and eclectic shops; and not to forget its fine restaurants and sunset boat cruises.

Quaint Wickford Village , is just 7 miles north, with sidewalks for strolling the antiques shops, toy store and fine eateries. Nearby, Dave’s fresh-food marketplace is convenient for picking up a prepared meal of your choice.

Don’t forget the other area amenities; kayaking, paddle-boarding, fishing, golf, trail walking, bicycling, etc. Dining options are numerous. One of our favorite areas in Narragansett Village is Boon Street. We recommend pizza from the Bike Stop Cafe and Crazy Burger for a veggie experience. For seafood try the Coast Guard House or Matunuck Oyster Bar. Don’t forget a trip on the Block Island Ferry out of Point Judith, less than a 15 minute drive. Convenient coffee shops and boutiques on Route 1A just minutes away. This is the ideal location!

Move to the secluded back deck area for outdoor grilling, with a meal at the outdoor table and chairs, or inside dining area.

Enjoy the yard wide landscaping, adorned with native flowering plants. Enjoy an evening walk on the neighborhood’s quiet streets.. Head down to the Pettaquamscutt Association beach, on the beautiful Narrow River, and watch the sunset, or jump in for a swim in the non-salty water. Just bring the towels and linens, everything else is here for you.
