Cavallo Point property was beautiful!! From the moment we arrived, the staff were overly accommodating. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, tasty snacks in the room for us with water! A gorgeous view of the Golden Gate Bridge from our room and a beautiful patio to enjoy it off of. Definitely planning to come back!!

Excellent conversion of former Fort Baker to unique upscale resort hotel. Spacious grounds with multiple hiking and biking opportunities. Friendly, can-do staff. Wonderful breakfast with creative healthy options. Great location to explore Marin County and only 30 minute drive to Downtown San Fan, plus ferry.

Incredible stay- the property is beautiful and the staff are fabulous. If you are looking for a low-key but luxurious stay that you can enjoy with your canine companion(s), Cavallo Point is a great choice. You’ll enjoy views of the bay and SF from the whole property.

Great location, property, and staff. Only complaint is the water pressure in showers. Eco-friendly gone too far. For $900 a night, I'd like to be able to wash the shampoo out and feel refreshed.

So many amenities were included in our stay, such as 2 hours at the SPA daily, food credit, snacks & water in the room with an Expresso Machine. There were many hikes in the area & we “borrowed” ELECTRIC bikes & rode into Sausalito…. What a memorable & amazing RESORT!!
We “borrowed” Convertible Lexus for a short drive to Sausalito.

We booked this property because we have a Toddler and wanted an easy open space for him to run around. It also has a unique history and we’ve wanted to check it out for some time. Generally it was ok, but the food and staff were underwhelming. A rating of wonderful on this site I would say is not accurate for this property.
