Whispering Creek on Brown Bear - Creekside Cabin

Welcome to Whispering Creek Cabin! Newly renovated and featuring all the amenities you could ever want. Large family room with 2 sofas, plus an oversized side chair. All overlooking a beautiful stacked stone, wood burning, fireplace and flat screen tv. Plenty of places to relax while staying in. The kitchen has been completely renovated with updated painted cabinets and stainless-steel appliances, plus sleek black counter tops for easy cleaning. Dining area has a nice view through the oversized windows of the inviting back yard and surrounding creek area.
If spending time away with the kids or another couple is your plan, there is a nice benefit to having the split bedrooms. Each having its own private bath. Master bedroom has a beautiful king size bed and flat screen tv mounted on wall. Master bath is completely renovated with oversized luxury tile shower. Second bedroom has full bathroom and standard shower/tub combination.
Fully covered back deck makes it usable all year or in any weather conditions. Hot tub, patio seating and charcoal grill for easy access and use.
Once you step into the yard, you'll thoroughly enjoy the features offered. This lovely North Georgia stream meanders through the properly and wraps around the gazebo. Firepit area is built along the edge of the stream. Cross of the bridge to access the swing on the other side.

Staying here, you will be surrounded by nature and privacy, but you are only 3.5 miles to downtown Helen where you can enjoy all the activities, restaurants and sites offered there. Only a mile to Unicoi State Park and Anna Ruby Falls where you can enjoy a multitude of outdoor activities.

Please be advised that you are renting a cabin in the woods in the mountains of North Georgia. Most, but not all, roads are gravel and could have an incline or decline. Cabin was nestled in the mountain with wooded view. There were other cabins near but not on top of you. It was peaceful and serene. Enjoyed the outdoor fire pit due to unseasonably warm weather. The cabin was clean and very cozy. We loved our stay. The roads to the cabin were dirt and a little rough but that just added to feeling of seclusion. Would definitely stay here again loved that upon entering the cabin on Christmas Eve there was Christmas music playing on the tv

Really nice cabin, exactly what we needed for two couples. Both bedrooms had their own bathroom and king size bed. It's an excellent property and an excellent stay, there were no negatives. Helen was decorated for Christmas and we enjoyed a few hikes in the area to include Anna Ruby Falls and Brasstown Bald.

The cabin was the perfect size! The backyard is beautiful, and the location is just far enough from Helen to not deal with heavy traffic. It was too windy to use the outdoor fire pit, but the fireplace was nice.

Cabin was cozy and comfortable. Didn't use the hot tub. We had a great time and saw a lot of attractions. Just wish the TV selection could have included the major networks somehow. The app selections were very limited. Otherwise, everything was great!

We only had a chance to get into hot top once but that one time was great. The house was clean inside but had a musty smell to it and you could feel the humidity. We probably should have opened the windows and doors but didn’t think of it. The outside of the cabin could use a little attention. There was a lot of spider webs. The location was great for our trip.

This cabin has everything needed. Loved the hot tub & sitting out back listening to the creek. Close enough to Helen & all the hiking we wanted to do but far enough from away to feel like a private peaceful getaway. Highly recommend.

A lovely cabin.

This was a great place to stay. Both bedrooms had bathrooms. Is well appointed. We were disappointed we didn't do a campfire. The only thing I found lacking was the light in the kitchen. Other than that it was an awesome stay.

Perfect Tranquility

The cabin layout was perfect for a couple and one adult guest. The bedrooms are on opposite ends of the cabin, providing privacy. Everything was clean,(there were spiderwebs on the back deck and in the gazebo) we enjoyed using the hot tub and the firing as well.There is a diner right down the road beside a gas station, lending to convenience.The cabins decor is very cute as well.

Wonderful Stay!

Very charming and comfortable stay! Hosts were very helpful and easy to communicate with. The town of Helen is adorable and you should stay at this cabin if you are visiting the area or just passing through.

Wonderful Home Away From Home

We loved the feel of being in the woods with all the modern conveniences. The back porch area was lovely and despite some rain we loved being there in the hot tub and just enjoying the gorgeous back yard. The little creek and fire pit area made for a perfect time!

Great Cabin Retreat in Helen GA

We loved our stay very much! This cabin was close enough where we could enjoy the town of Helen but then remote enough where we could have a nice quiet weekend. The cabin had modern amenities but overall rustic and quaint. Loved the outdoor deck with a view into the brook & woods. We'd love to come back when the weather is better and enjoy the outdoor area around the cabin!

Whispering Creek

I've rented this cabin twice and probably will again. Everything was as advertised. The only issue is the lock box, if you have poor eyesight. The numbers on the tiny tumblers are hard to see if you arrive after dark and shinning a light on them doesn't help. It really needs to be updated to a modern box with a keypad. Other than that, the place is excellent!

Perfect getaway

This cabin was the perfect place for a weekend getaway! The location is so convenient to Anna Ruby Falls & downtown Helen. The property was clean & comfortable. The creek running through the backyard, fire pit & swing were all a plus!
