We needed to add our daughter to the reservation and asked to modify the reservation by phone to two double beds instead of the single king. They would not do that and canceled our reservation (stay). Because it was reserved through Travelocity, we lost our full payment. Anything we can do to get a refund from Travelocity, beings it was Best Western that canceled us?

It was easy to get to the property, check in without a problem. The room was clean and the bathroom too. Everything works fine. The breakfast was more than I expected and the staff were friendly and helpful.

AC unit not work, showerhead had absolutely no pressure and bath tub did not drain. Fridge wouldn’t stay on and keep things cold. Charging ports beside the beds did not work. Did not look like the pictures, but the room beside us did. Very dated musky smell mattress was terribly uncomfortable, and we had one sheet and a very thin blanket, no extra even downstairs, furniture was chipped and broken. Breakfast was not great and when they ran out that was it I will not stay there again, especially for $130 a night, I could’ve stated the rug would’ve done that would have been nicer

Everyone at the front desk was helpful and kind. The lobby was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good, coffee good also. Lived that you had coffee available during day by the desk, and the flavored cold water was appreciated. The area outside in the back was quiet and nice. The room as very comfortable and clean- the refrigerator and microwave was great to have. Very convenient to hop on interstate. Will stay here again.

False advertising, even after I wrote to verify

False advertising, horrible customer service, and no effort to correct the situation. We are on the road all the time and stay in hotels more than most people. Because we've been working on the road for three months now and driving hundreds of miles most days, we specifically booked this hotel because of its advertised hot tub, paying a higher price for the accommodation than other area hotels in order to treat our backs, sore from all the driving. To make sure the hot tub was working and available, I wrote to the hotel the day before to make sure it was operational and they wrote back to tell me that it was. I did this before the cancellation window closed, just to be sure. When we checked in the next day, they told us the hot tub was not working. I told the clerk that the reason we booked this particular hotel at a higher price than surrounding hotels was specifically for the hot tub. Then I showed them the message that they wrote to me yesterday saying the hot tub was working. The clerk's response was simply "it WAS working yesterday." Wonderful. They told me they'd be happy to cancel my reservation and suggested I find another hotel. As a seasoned traveler, I always book hotels well in advance in order to get the best price and the greatest availability. Here it was 3 o'clock on the day I needed the hotel and I could find nothing comparable to what I thought I was getting at best Western Plus in Richmond Hill Georgia. They offered no partial compensation. Nothing.

Overall, a good experience. Hotel was as expected. A little dated but clean and friendly staff. I do want to tell travelers that this hotel does charge a 25 dollar early check in fee. I had traveled 12 hours and got there at 2:20 with a 3:00 check in time. Despite having a half empty hotel with numerous rooms available. I was too tired to argue about the 25 dollar charge. I would stay there again just plan my arrival time a little better.

3 Day Savannah Road Trip

A little hard to locate. You need a larger sign to show where to turn in. I liked that although close to I-95 it was quiet. Very clean, staff was friendly. A little disappointed with the breakfast lady on Monday, she was a little snippy with patrons. I get you are out of items because of the weekend and I am sorry would suffice. Also easy access traveling back and forth to Savannah.

So they gave us the wrong key and then tried to check someone into the room we were in. No apology for being woken up in the middle of the night. Front don’t really speak the kings English and seem put out by our call to say someone had come into our room because he gave them a key. Then our keys no longer worked after breakfast. I would t stay here again if it weee the last room in the country. I am sure this family works hard to make it pleasant some Members just are not up to the task or don’t care enough to get it right.

Loved the indoor pool & hot tub. Our rooms were clean & pleasant. Staff was great and we enjoyed the free breakfast. It was an easy drive into Savannah & found good food near the hotel, too.
