A Perfect Romantic Getaway in one of the countries most magical cities!!
The 1869 original Carriage House is a free standing cottage behind the main house with its own private entrance off the lane/alley.

It is located on the 2nd floor over the garage like all original carriage houses in Savannah, so there is a flight of stairs to get to the 2nd floor home.

The carriage house, also called Coach Houses are where the livery drivers housed horses and carriages on the ground floor while living in the hay loft above . The Wedding Cake Carriage House comes with ONE highly coveted garage parking space.

The unusual design is evocative of a “Manhattan loft” set in a historic 1869 carriage house. This surprise blending of original 1920 -1940 art deco furnishings and many vintage elements creates a fun, casual ambiance. The open and airy open concept living space showcases an entire wall of frosted artist windows, thus flooding the house with natural light.

The bedroom with king bed and TV is adjacent to the luxurious bathroom with high-end features such as 6 foot jetted tub and marble-lined walk-in shower.

The fully equipped kitchen provides everything you need to whip up a Southern style meal or just grab toast and coffee on the way out your door before you take in the cities historical sights!

The living room and bedroom have brand new smart TVs on which you can stream your favorite apps. We do not have cable.

*Minimum age to reserve is 25 years of age, no exceptions.

*Maximum occupancy is 2 people at all times.

*NOISE: This property is NOT PARTY friendly. We do not allow loud noise, loud music, public drunkenness, or parties of any sort.

This is a family oriented neighborhood with year-round tenants. Violators may be evicted and/or fined. The City of Savannah Noise Ordinance requires strict observance of QUIET TIME between 10 pm and 8 am. Savannah Police and the neighborhood strictly enforce this. The individual violators can be fined and/or EVICTED.

*This reservation includes one private, garage parking space.

*Guest are welcome to use the courtyard although it is shared with guests in the Main House.

*No SMOKING or VAPING in house or in courtyard.

The location was perfect. A short walk to every place we wanted to visit and also quiet and safe at night. The bed was super comfortable, the shower pressure was amazing, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook and prepare meals. Having a garage made parking a breeze as well. It was a wonderful place to stay and soak in the historical gem that is downtown Savannah.

Loved the place, it was so cute. It was within walking distance to anything you would like to see. Loved that the house had a private garage. The bathroom was very nice, with a separate deep tub. Would definitely recommend. It does have a few stairs but if you can handle the river street stairs these will be easy.

Great romantic get-a-way

The carriage house was very nice, well-maintained, and stocked with all the basic necessities. Having the garage for parking our car and the jetted tub for soothing our muscles after long walks were great bonuses!

This was the absolute perfect place for my husband and me to stay on our first visit to Savannah! I had looked at various places and settled on this one because of the tub in the bathroom (LOL) and the parking space in the garage! It was exactly as described! Very clean! Excellent location! I was very thankful for the note beside the jetted tub explaining that the jets just randomly turn on from time to time! That definitely would have unnerved us without the warning! We hope to have a longer stay next time!

What a magical stay. Spacious yet cozy. Location was perfect to walk to everything- food, shopping, history. Private garage for our car was an added bonus for peace of mind. Strongly recommend staying here. Would have been a rating of excellent but the mattress and sheets need to be updated.

Just as advertised. Close to everything. Quiet, historic neighborhood. The garage space really helped and was large enough to easily fit a midsize SUV with room to spare (e.g. Palisade; Durango). Would absolutely stay again.

Fabulous location

We couldn’t have asked for a better location, and we were grateful to have garage parking! The bed was very comfortable and my 6’5” husband appreciated the very spacious shower and high ceilings throughout.

If you like history, this is a perfect place to stay for a long weekend. It’s in the heart of Savannah’s historic district with the prettiest streets being a short walk. The carriage house with parking included is a great bonus! The garage is tight, so plan accordingly. Enjoy!

Our bedroom was hot and we had difficulty sleeping due to the temperature. We could not adjust thermostat.Due to narrow, steep, and long staircase, not the best place for individuals with difficulties climbing stairs.Location was great and rooms were clean.
