Avis pour Elegant Home in Historic District with Gourmet Kitchen and WiFi
Stayed here for Veteran's day weekend with my wife and our relatives for a super early Thanksgiving and birthday party for my wife. The apartment had plenty of space for the 6 of us and our niece. Each couple had their own room and separate bathroom. The massive bag of toiletries in each bathroom was an awesome perk.
The massive island in the kitchen had more than enough seating for us. We all probably spent more time around that than in the main living room snacking and talking.
The location is about a 12-15 minute walk to just about everywhere. Or a roughly $6-7 Uber to the main part of the Historic District. The immediate area is generally quiet. Late at night if you are in the bedroom with the entrance you can hear some cars zooming by, but their generally wasn't a lot of traffic so this wasn't an issue.
I would have given this place 5 stars if not for the following things.
1. There are two doors to the apartment, but the one we were allowed to use opens into one of the bedrooms rather than a shared space. It appeared like it was possible to use the other door to access our space, but it was locked.
2. Some people in the house felt a little uncomfortable with the immediate area outside of the apartment during the evening. I don't believe that their really was anything to worry about. But there was police around the corner due to a minor disturbance the night we arrived. And there was some construction that made the area around the apartment less than appealing.
3. We did not have control over the thermostat. So it was a little cooler than we would have liked at times. And then at some point in the middle of the night, the heat kicked in making it uncomfortable for an hour or so until things cooled back down.
4. The shared living space that we had access to did not have a TV. Each individual room had its own (which was great). But none of us wanted to sit on someone else's bed to watch football while eating dinner.

You can't find a more beautiful home to stay at in Savannah
This home is absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed our stay so much we're already planning our next trip. We loved how close it was to everything and that every bedroom had it's own bathroom.
