Spacious Historic District Carriage House w/ King bed by Lucky Savannah

York Lane Carriage House is a secluded retreat perfect for a romantic weekend getaway.
Located on the second floor, this spacious one-bedroom apartment offers exceptional comfort and convenience for two Lucky Savannah guests. Centrally located, all of Savannah’s rich history, excellent restaurants, entertainment venues, museums and shops just steps away.

With a thousand square feet of living space, attractive furnishings, and large east, south and west-facing windows, York Lane Carriage House is bright and inviting. The living room has plenty of space to sit and relax while watching the large flat screen TV. Open to the living room, the fully equipped kitchen has everything you’ll need during your stay and the nearby dining table is the perfect spot to plan your day. This property has a washer and dryer, making it ideal for extended stays. After a long day of sightseeing, you’ll come back to snuggle up under the blankets of the king sized bed.

The city’s most sought after attractions – bustling River Street, Broughton Street shopping, Telfair Museum, Lucas Theater, the Cathedral, Forsyth Park and more – are all within easy walking distance. Whether you want to create your own pancakes at the Funky Brunch Cafe, or enjoy an Old Fashioned Ice Cream Soda and Leopold’s Ice Cream, you’ll be in a great location to explore all Savannah has to offer.

Arriving guests please note that despite its central location, some GPS systems don’t recognize East York Lane or mislabel it as East York Street. The entrance to the apartment is at 425 East York Lane, which is different from and directly behind 425 East York Street. The Lane, which does not have a separate street sign, is a broad, paved, well-lighted service road that runs parallel to – and between – Oglethorpe Street and East York Street and between Habersham and Price Streets.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely loved it! The 1-bedroom house is located on a wonderfully quiet street, making it the perfect relaxing getaway. The neighborhood is incredibly peaceful, yet it's conveniently close to local shopping and inside the historic district. The house itself was fully furnished with all the necessary amenities we could possibly need. The owners were fantastic to work with and were clear and prompt in all communications. Highly recommend this property for a stress-free vacation!

Great little space

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Easy to find and access. Savannah doesn't have free parking, so you will need to unload and move to a parking garage (for shade in the summer.) Most all attractions and dining are in walking distance or the city tram line which is just down the lane. The owners have done a great job renovating the space keeping it in character with the surroundings and history. It's nice and quite. Pretty private and peaceful for a break from the crowds. Comfortable furnishings and bath.

This apartment was perfect! As a homebody who doesn’t like to travel frequently, I felt very comfortable in this place. It was extremely clean, set up like a beautiful staged home, location was very convenient (parks and restaurants close by, but far enough away to keep the noise level down) and parking was always easily accessible within very close range (within a few doors down). I couldn’t have asked for more!

Birthday Weekend

The property was the perfect place for me and my husband to spend the weekend for my birthday. It is close to everything but just far enough to where it is quiet at night. Which made it perfect after a long day and night out and about. Would definitely stay there again.

Historic Carriage House Review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We originally rented a different property. Upon entering the property we smelled gas. We called the property management and they immediately found us a new property. The new property was right across the street and is the property this review is about. The property management was fantastic, they even were going to call a car to move us but we were able to do on our own because the new property was so close.

10 year anniversary getaway

The carriage house was wonderful. It was close to everything and check in and out was a breeze. We were able to do our laundry which was nice. The water pressure was amazing! Beds were comfortable, the only complaint would be the sheets don’t quite fit the bed well and the corners come up. We would definitely stay here again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My friend and I had a girls getaway weekend here. It was wonderful! The only issue we had was the internet strength was not strong and kept kicking us off, but we contacted the rental company and they offered a quick solution. We will be back!
