The host, somehow, had no idea their property was listed on Vrbo. Therefore our room was not reserved and he was located in another country on the opposite side of the world. After 2 hours of calls and translating with the ‘host’ and onsite help and after being transferred from one person to another with Vrbo employees, we ended up having to cancel. The representation of rooms versus what we showed up to find was disappointing to say the least. I was not expecting luxury by any means but this was glamping… after all was said and done we booked elsewhere. Thankfully Vrbo worked to help us with a refund and new booking!
