Beautiful 4 bedroomed villa set in a commanding position with fantastic panoramic views over the I mediterranean, and surrounding Sierra Tejeda mountains.
The villa is south west facing and has the benefit of sun all day and magnificent sunsets.
The villa has a cosy European feel and comprises of 4 bedrooms ,1 master with balcony and en suite, 1 double with en suite (both with power showers) two doubles (one with an extending bed).
Downstairs bathroom with power shower.
Fully equipped modern fitted kitchen with American fridge freezer, microwave, oven and hob, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle and toaster.
French doors opening onto large dining terrace and cosy seating area.
Large sitting room with a log burning fire, a smart tv, DVD, wifi, freeview tv and iPod dock plus a selection of DVD films. French doors leading out onto the front terrace overlooking the 10x4m swimming pool, large sun terrace and shaded pergola for poolside dining.

Sayalonga is just a 15 minute drive to the coast and beaches, restaurants and nightlife.
Torre del mar water park is a 20 minute drive away, and the caves of Nerja and the Ealcon de Europa are approx 25 minutes away. The, please note,Moriscos is not one minute walk away but 4 minute drive

SIMPLY AMAZING

This place is a true paradise for nature afficionados and, as such, we (family of four from Canada) absolutely fell in love with the quiet, amazing mountain perch. We thoroughly enjoyed the (very) well equipped kitchen, 2 types of barbecues (gas and charcoal), great dining area outside, super comfie bedrooms, refreshing and large pool (great to relax and cool off after a hot July day trip to nearby Granada for example), and many lounging areas around the property. However, the best part was the unbelievable view! Even after a couple of weeks here it still took our breath away! For people worried about the drive up the mountain, we would recommend simply taking it slow the first few times, and it will be fine. We did it at least once per day for nearly two weeks and got quite comfortable with it. It is *well* worth it in any case. If you keep the place clean, ants etc. that you would expect normally expect to find in the countryside can easily be managed. This is an exquisite property —obviously the owners, Marcus and Pipa, care about its upkeep a great deal— and we would go back in a hearbeat. Totally our speed.

Superbe Villa

La villa Ă©tait fidĂšle Ă  la description et aux photos, spacieuse, propre, piscine superbe avec vue Ă  couper le souffle ! Le propriĂ©taire est facilement accessible et rĂ©actif via le site et notre arrivĂ©e tardive a Ă©tĂ© accueillie avec une attention pour le lendemain matin : un panier contenant tout ce qu'il faut pour petit-dĂ©jeuner ! Seul bĂ©mol : la route jusqu'Ă  la villa est impressionnante lorsque l'on ne s'y attend pas (routes de montagnes sinueuses avec par moment des passages sur des chemins de terre). Il devrait ĂȘtre mentionnĂ© dans l'annonce qu'il faut se munir d'un bon vĂ©hicule (SUV/4x4) pour les pratiquer.

Un bol d'air et de calme dans une magnifique villa.

Premier point , le cadre est magnifique calme et la vue Ă  360° est Ă©poustouflante jour et nuit. Cependant celĂ  ce mĂ©rite et surtout louez au moins un S.U.V pour accĂ©der Ă  la villa. DeuxiĂšme point, la villa est tout simplement magnifique , propre et l'Ă©quipement complet. Un petit bĂ©mol sur le matelas de la suite parentale en fin de vie. TroisiĂšme point, les propriĂ©taires, leurs voisins et l'Ă©quipe de nettoyage sont super sympas et rĂ©pondent vite lorsque besoin est. Une petite visite surprenante et sympa de deux petits chiens fifi et hugo du secteur qui raffolent de biscuits, de caresses.... La rĂ©gion ne manque vraiment pas de charme et est axĂ©e sur les promenades tranquilles dans les sierras oĂč sur la plage de torre del mar et algarrobo. Vous trouverez de nombreux supermarchĂ©s ... Merci encore Ă  Mr et Mme GREEN , ainsi qu'Ă  Nigel et Debbie et Noelia pour leur gentillesse, leur disponibilitĂ©. AprĂšs un an de dur travaille nous nous sommes ressourcĂ©s.

Absolutely fabulous villa in a stunning location, making for a wonderful holiday. The house is beautifully and thoughtfully furnished, and equipped with everything you could need. Lots of different seating areas mean there is always somewhere comfortable to sit, in sun or shade, and space for the whole family to spread out. The pool is a delight and the views of the sea and mountains are world class. Having your own car is essential, and the access road is not recommended for the feint hearted, but the views, and the peace make it all worth while. Some nice restaurants in the village, and a Lidl in easy reach at Algarobo Costa. Marc was really helpful and communicative ahead of and during our trip, and quickly dealt with any questions or issues that arose. Totally recommended. Thanks again Marc for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Beautiful place ( just a bit scary getting there!)

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house but we definitely underestimated how difficult the drive would be. It was nerve-wracking to say the least! The property itself is beautiful and the views are amazing though. A great base for a day trip into malaga and beach days in Nerja. Some lovely restaurants too but you will have to drive everywhere ( and make it back up the mountain!!) Marcus is an exceptional host and couldn't have been nicer.

Incredible Villa with incredible views

Where do I even begin, we have just arrived home from the most amazing 12 day stay at this incredible villa. It has been everything we wished for and more. The villa itself has everything you need and it’s beautiful inside, but outside is even better. The views and the sun rise and sun sets are just out of this world. My children (and also adults) absolutely loved being in the pool every day and sunbathing overlooked by the most beautiful surroundings looking over the mountains, peace and tranquility at its finest. There are so many lovely spots around the villa in the shade too if you wanted a little break from the sun, all perfect spaces to listen to the birds and read a book. Each room inside the villa is lovely and the beds are also very comfortable. The kitchen is great for cooking and equipped with everything that you need. The drive up to the villa from sayalonga is fine and definitely not as scary as you may think, once you have drove it once it just becomes second nature. Down in the town of sayalonga our favourite place to eat was ‘Meson Morisco’ the food, the service and the surroundings were wonderful. I don’t have any faults to say, nothing but a positive, beautiful and luxury stay at this beautiful villa. Thank you Marcus and Pip! We will definitely return!

Tough drive, great reward

Tasteful, well thought out, quality build. Neighbors nearby but you'd never know it. Great communication with Marc, the owner. The enjoyment of the spectacular view, pool, verandas, and privacy was first class. The drive there is not for the faint hearted, but wegot used to it.

Fantastic Half Term Week

A lovely well appointed villa with spectacular views and a lovely swimming pool. The sunsets were epic, and we had a great time as a family. My only slight negative would be the drive up being on windy roads meaning we didnt venture out for dinner due to not wanting to do the drive in the dark. Otherwise, we had a great week.

The Pictures Don't Lie...

Just left Marc and Pippa’s place after an 11 night stay with my wife and father-in-law. Everything was exactly as described and communication with Marc was excellent. The road up, as mentioned in a couple reviews, is somewhat daunting the first time, but you do get used to it. And it really is the only way you'd get to experience the incredible views the villa provides. The villa itself is wonderfully outfitted, very spacious and the pool is spectacular. We did a couple of day trips down to Malaga and Algarrobbo and had a couple of dinners in Sayalonga, but basically spent the bulk of our time just hanging out by the pool not wanting to go anywhere... Thanks again for everything Marc!

Erholsamer Urlaub in spektakulÀrer Kulisse

Das Ferienhaus hatte alles was man braucht, genĂŒgend Platz drinnen und draußen. Es ist mir sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet undman kann viel entdecken. Man findet auch immer ein schattiges PlĂ€tzchen, wo angenehm der Wind weht und man hat immer einen fantastischen Blick entweder auf das Mittelmeer oder die umliegenden Berge. Der Poolbereich ist mega!!! Wir haben abends viel gegrillt (man hat die Wahl: Holzkohle oder Gas) und haben es sehr genossen draußen zu sitzen. Ob der Blick zum Meer oder ĂŒber die Berge, es war einfach toll. Wenn man den Weg nach oben einmal gefahren ist, hat man sich auch daran gewöhnt. So schlimm wie manche es beschrieben haben, ist es nicht. Man soolte nur keinen tiefergelegten Sportwagen ausleihen. ("Abenteuerlich" beginnt doch erst, wenn Allrad erforderlich ist, oder?). Uns hat es auch nicht gestört, dass es keine Klimaanlage gab (wir haten bis zu 36 Grad). Über die Ventilatoren wurde es auch sehr angenehm. Insgesamt hatten wir sehr erholsame und tolle Tage.
