Visited Scarborough for the motorcycle races at Olivers Mount. St Michaels was perfect for our needs. Well equiped, clean and comfortable room. Excellent, friendly customer service. Great value cooked breakfast available. Would certInly stay again and happily recommend.
Very friendly genuine warm welcome. They even went to the trouble of cutting up a fruit salad when all I asked for was some fruit.
Small double room. Maybe a bit overpriced for accommodation but good cheap breakfast. However other hotels were charging more because Tom Jones was at the open air theatre so it provided alternative place to stay.
I enjoyed a 2 night stay at St Michael's whilst working in Scarborough. Annie and Alex are wonderful hosts! The property is well presented, clean and comfortable. For anyone going on holiday the property is just a short walk to the seafront!
I could not be any happier with this place. It was beautiful and the couple that run it are some of the friendliest people Iâve ever met.super helpful with hints and tips on things to do in Scarborough, and the breakfast in the mornings is top notch.we will definitely be staying here if weâre ever in Scarborough again. Loved it.
Glyn & Denise were very welcoming, friendly & thoughtful for the comfort of their guests. The food was cooked & prepared well and of v,good quality.
The room was very clean & comfortable, all the usual things, shower etc with plenty of toiletries, Tv, hair dryer. Also provided was a great variety of teas, coffee water & various snacks. I liked the decor the dinning room in particular. St Michael's is just minutes away from Peasholm Park which is really worth a visit, & also v.close to the North Bay. I dont think i've ever felt as relaxed in a B &B as in this & will be going back!
Amazing place. I will be a returning customer. Hosts Dee & Glyn are so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended. Also they will cater for any dietary needs and for people who are gluten free.
Dee and Glynn go to a great deal of trouble to ensure that your stay with them is top notch. The house is well decorated and our room had a lovely seaside theme bedroom. Its rare to see so much care and attention given to items in the bedroom and as well as tea/coffee there were all manner of tempting snacks- a thoughtful touch. The attention to detail at breakfast was obvious with a wide choice of food and fresh fruit. with a lot of good tips about places to visit in Scarborough and the sea front and Peasholm park less than ten minutes walk away, This was a perfect getaway made so by our lovely hosts.
Very friendly welcome. Hosts are lovely, very clean, great breakfast, and treats galore!! An abundance of teas, biscuits, sweets, chocolates... I will definitely book again
Hosts welcoming and friendly,Could not do enough.En suite bedroom and bed very comfortable . Breakfast superb.
Convenient for business visit. Very reasonable cost. Would definitely stay again if I had business in Scarborough.

Very enjoyable stay ,made welcome and very helpful couple with their info.Tray full of goodies ,tea and coffee.Lovely breakfast.will go back again. Thank you Dee and Glyn. We recommend this guest house .
Just got home from a 2 day stay in Scarborough for the cricket.
The location is great, 5-10 minutes walk from North Bay, and around 15 minutes walk from the train station. The cricket ground is a few minutes away around the back.
After a lovely welcome (and the offer of a cuppa!), I found that the room was lovely, Spacious, comfortable bed, with freeview TV, tea/coffee/water and snacks, which was a nice touch. The quiet fan in the room was handy as it was a scorching weekend.
The huge breakfast was most welcome! :)
Dee and Glyn were lovely and chatty, making you feel so welcome. They provided handy suggestions for local places to eat and drink.
I wouldn't hesistate to stay here on a future visit! Thanks to you both for a lovely couple of days!
Iâve been going to the same b&b in Scarborough for the last 4 years, and we thought we try something different, it ended up being a great decision, I will be definitely returning here, very friendly couple who run the B&B, very modern & clean, also some little sweet treats in the room đ
