Stoneridge Cottage I was designed by renown Birmingham architect, Jacob Salie, to be used as his summer home. Built in 1940, with new sections added throughout the years, this unique cottage features two suites with queen sized beds and separate sitting areas; both equally lovely. The cottage offers our guest all the comforts of home: a well-stocked kitchen, fresh linens, comfortable furniture, local art, handmade quilts, and awesome architectural features. Our guest will appreciate the exposed beams, pine floors and stone and brick interiors that take you back to a time when the materials were set by local workers proud of their craft.

This charming cottage provides our guest with the best valley views in Mentone. They can see our brilliant sunsets, distant rain storms, rolling fog and trains as they pass through the valley from the hot tub on the deck. Relax and enjoy a morning cup of coffee from our large screen porch or the many cozy spots throughout the cottage. Our prime location allows walks to town to experience unique shops and charming restaurants.

Stoneridge Cottage I offers many amenities that include:

- A flat screen TV and Blu-ray DVD player in each suite.
- DirecTV with all the movie channels.
- Wi-Fi service.
- Cell phone service is available for Verizon, AT&T and Sprint customers.
- The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need including appliances, both auto drip and Keurig coffee pots with
coffee and K-cups, eating utensils, glasses and dishes, pot and pans, toaster, microwave, ice maker, Bounty paper
towels, Vanityfair napkins, sugar and sweeteners, dish washing detergent, dish cloth and drying towels.
- The bathrooms are supplied with wash cloths, bath towels, full size soap bars, hand soap and Charmin toilet paper.
- Each bedroom has a queen-sized bed, pillows, bed linens, spreads and blankets.
- On the screen porch/deck area there is a gas grill and A NEW HOT TUB that was installed on July 1, 2023 that overlook the beautiful valley and the spectacular
sunsets.

To accommodate our many guests, we have added Stoneridge Cottage II. It has the same spectacular view as cottage I. It is a one bedroom “adult only” cottage that features a “Pottery Barn” style décor with all the amenities of Stoneridge Cottage I include Wi-Fi and a screen porch and private hot tub that overlooks the valley. It has vaulted wood and beam ceilings. It is charming, comfortable and perfect for a romantic getaway for two. It is the perfect location to travel to various locations in Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee. There is nearby Desoto Falls and Little River Canyon. There are historic Civil War battlefields located in nearby Georgia. Chattanooga, TN has unique attractions like the Tennessee Aquarium, Rock City, Point Park Battlefield, fabulous shopping, restaurants and coffee shops and exciting nightlife.

We at Stoneridge Cottages want you to know that we are continuing our practice of providing you with the cleanest rental possible. For your added protection during this COVID-19 pandemic, we have taken steps to be even cleaner by sanitizing all commonly used hard surfaces. This includes, but not limited to remote controls, counter tops, doorknobs, appliance handles, bathroom and kitchen cabinet knobs, microwave, railings, light switches, and sink and bathtub handles. And of course, we will continue to replace the icemaker ice between rentals.
