The property worked great for us, as we only needed it for sleeping while we explored the area during the day. It was smallish, but clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was a tv next door that was on loudly late into the night.

Pros: This place was cozy, quaint, and well appointed. I can tell the owner has gone to lengths to make sure that people have what they need and feel comfortable while staying. Lots of blankets, pillows, toiletries in the bathroom, etc. Within a 10 minute drive to the Puget Sound and was an easy drive to freeways and into Seattle. Cons: It was impossible to understand the layout of the unit from the online pictures. There is one bed in the main living space and then there is a section with the living room and second bedroom. There is a door between the main living space and living area but no door to the 2nd bedroom from the living room. There is a window cutout and a doorway with no door between the second bedroom and living area, which are covered by curtains, so there is no privacy between the 2nd bedroom and living room area. If you have to get up and use the bathroom in the middle of the night, you will distrub those sleeping in the living room and in the main space where the first bed is located. The beds were uncomfortably firm.It also was absolutely freezing cold in there all night long. The only heater I saw was a space heater in the living room area. The shower looked older and in need of some repairs. The entire space is really tight and, while there isa dining table provided, I can't see how multiple people could pull it out and use it.Lastly, parking is a little unnerving. You have to find a spot on the edge of a ditch on the street.

This listing feels misleading. Lots of cute and thoughtful touches. The art is well thought out. But there is only one door that separates the three “bedrooms”. Two of the rooms are separated by curtains, so no real noise barrier for people who might be on different clocks. One photo shows a bed with an actual headboard and footboard. That doesn’t exist. No central heat would have been an important thing to know. It’s really cute and a good location but know that only one of the three sleeping areas has a door which is where the bathroom is so anyone getting up at night is walking through that person’s sleeping area. No room for luggage that is not obstructive.

Wonderful! Thoughtful touches, cozy home, excellent communication. Claire and Julian’s place is located on a quiet block of west Seattle yet super close to hustle and bustle of downtown or calm beach vibes at alki. Lots of great restaurants, charming shops nearby too. The space is cozy and efficient. All you need for a weekend or a while. Kitchenette is stocked with all you might need to prep and eat a meal minus a stove. Comfy beds, plush linens. Even art supplies. Just a perfect stay. Thank you!!

It was perfect for what my sister and I needed while staying in Seattle for a short time. The parking options could have been better (large ditch on the street parking) but it wasnt too bad. Thats the only negitive thing about staying here. The beds were pretty comfortable and though there wasnt a kitchen the host provides everything to help make up for the lack of a stove. Airfryer, microwave, toaster oven, etc. They were super quite too, you wouldnt even know they were there if she didnt mention they lived on site. Its in the middle of everything so not a long drive to Alki or Downtown. Definitely worth staying for the price point!

This house is located in west seattle, which was a 20-30 min drive into the city, or a ferry ride. The house was clean and well kept, but was quite tight for 4 people. Host was easy to communicate with. Check in and check out were very easy.
