Room was clean and everything worked. Great communication! Good location. Future guests should understand that you need to find your own parking and that it is a hostel situation- you have a bedroom and a bathroom and the kitchen and laundry are shared. There is no living room. But hey! Youâre in Cap Hill! Get out and explore.
My wife and I had a beautiful time in Seattle with some major disappointments with the rental. Firstly, this space was not private or exclusive to just my wife & I. We were mislead due to the impression of the advertising, but shared kitchen, laundry, balcony, dining area. Upon researching, other guests of the same host have similar reviews.Over the 5 days, these shared spaces were only cleaned the first day (the kitchen smelled like an ash tray afterwards) and there were multiple noise disturbances (snoring, luggage banging, and even a 5:00am fire alarm from someone burning their bagel). Besides the noises of others, lack of light filtering and uncomfortably warm temperatures (no AC during heat advisory!) prohibited us from sleeping well. There were network & remote problems with the Roku, so we couldn't utilize that as planned. To get around Seattle, my wife & I rented a nice car, and I was upset to learn that "Parking available on site" was not a garage or driveway, but actually meant parking on the side streets, where it's only 1 lane (both ways) traffic full of tight spaces & congested cars facing both directions. Due to the lack of street lights and "camping" in nearby neighborhoods, we didn't feel safe parking or traveling much after sundown, and we found ourselves anxious about the liability of our rental car. The drive to attractions were longer than listed on the site.Iâd share more, but thereâs a limit, so Iâll leave it at we would not stay here again.
