House is pet friendly. One reason we chose it having two small dogs The Views lovely as are the grounds. Traffic is a lot but didn’t bother us Very dangerous to cross road to try find Beach Access shown in photos, which we did but never found it. It’s a fair walk on busy highway Seating outdoors with firetable was nice. Patio really needed a cleaning 3 bedrooms perfect for our group. Beds could be more comfortable pillows need updated badly Kitchen was fairly well set up loved the coffee station . More bowls. Casserole pots and wineglasses needed Couch really needs changed it’s very outdated and not clean Bathrooms are redone and very nice Another big thing is it’s advertised as you are renting Entire house it says on listing . Which is not true. There are residents underneath you That should be changed so people are aware of this First night people were talking laughing under us at 3:30 am and woke me With a few easy updates this is a good place for a family get away so close to the ocean and lovely nature walks

This was a nice pet friendly home. When the door lock stopped working the owner took our call in one ring and helped us out. The driveway is a little tricky, but once you do it you get it. The view is fantastic. The kitchen was well equipped. I just wish it had a hot tub or sauna, that would put it over the top! Very nice accommodations for a visit to the Sunshine Coast!

Your place was lovey and clean. And well equip. November weather is iffy but had a nice clear day and waned to walk a beach. my friend has Parkinson’s so we couldn’t chance crossing the highway to busy. Having said that we had a great time exploring the community and did lots in 2days. We were unable to get the kettle to work so you may need to check. Again not a big thing but just FYI Thanks again. I will recommend for sure.

Amazing View and Sunsets - Great outdoor deck for viewing. This is what sells the property - was difficult to reach glassware for shorter people as we are - needed to climb on chair. No access to sports on TV until I mentioned it - she sounded puzzled as to why I wanted to watch Baseball - this was when the entire Country was in a buzz cheering on the Blue Jays to reach the World Series - she responded quickly however ordered the bare minimum from Cable Provider so I still missed important games. Wouldn't have cared but this is October - Dark by 6:30 so Entertainment in home is very important. I would suggest the owner do a little research as to the needs of potential renters.

We had a great stay at this property. It was close to the ocean and had a great view of the ocean. It was close to shopping and restaurants. It was great that we could bring our dog with us. The beds were not as comfortable as we would have hoped and the bathrooms were also not as clean as we would have liked. We would stay here again.

Relaxing Atmosphere

We had an excellent stay in this home. Lovely property with an excellent view. Bedrooms were nice and spacious and we really enjoyed the kitchen and living room thoroughly. Wish the weather had cooperated a little more, but you can't be surprised by a little liquid sunshine on the coast. The highlight of the trip was watching a pod of killer whales out in the bay on the last morning of the stay.

Lovely views and gathering spaces.

As others have noted there is a busy highway with road noise. It takes a bit of time to sometimes get out of the driveway. The driveway is a bit tight and steep. The check in was excellent. The code for the door is tricky for people who don’t have that kind of lock. Just press two numbers then the whole keypad lights up to put in your code. The kitchen has good amenities. The seating space with the fire table was lovely just off the kitchen. It was covered so you could sit out in a light rain. The living space was lovely and large. The view was amazing watching the tugboats and other boats go by. This is not a waterfront property but beach access is a one minute walk. The master bedroom was huge with lots of drawer space. The other two room were ample. The beds have seen better days. One was very squeaky. There were some cleanliness issues and some minor maintenance issues and based on the host quick response they will be addressed quickly. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Selma Park ~ what a view!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view and deck are amazing. As it is on the highway, it can be a bit noisy but as we stayed at the end of the season, it was manageable. It was an easy drive to all locations on the Sunshine Coast which made it perfect. Elena, our host was terrific to work with as she was very responsive to requests. She gave us ideas of where to eat in all of the communities, and even allowed us an earlier check in which we so appreciated.

Fun weekend

The house was great and we had a wonderful stay. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We had one minor disappointment. There was more road noise than we expected which was noticeable when we sat on the deck. One suggestion - supply more flatware, plates and bowls. Stunning views, comfortable accommodations

This home is very comfortably set up with welcoming decor and stocked necessities. The full coffee bar, including espresso machine were unexpected! The hosts are easy to reach and chat with, and the kitchen was well stocked. (I base this on wether or not utensils and cookware are sufficient for me to make pancakes from scratch in the morning and a full dinner in the evening). When a corkscrew is present, it’s always a good thing ;). The only challenge was finding the location across the street to reach the beach. We did not find the entry pictured, but did find a secret rugged path down.

We were all very happy with the stunning view, the house and our very attentive hosts, however if you are looking for a quiet getaway, this is not the place for you. It is located across the street from the ocean on an extremely busy and loud highway that never stops, however it the noise does not matter, you wont be disappointed.

This property is very noisy due to the highway the house faces. The traffic noise goes on 24/7. The huge patio that covers the main bedroom, sitting room and kitchen is nice, but it fronts the noisy highway. Not all windows have screens. The kitchen windows and side door, as well as the sitting room patio door and one smaller bedroom are unscreened. Kitchen , laundry room and washrooms do not have any window covers at all. There is one floor fan and a ceiling fan in the sitting room, but it gets very very hot after 4 pm until nightfall. Although the manager is super nice, I would not rent this property again. The first day we arrived, we were attacked by a squadron of fruit flies in the kitchen. Due to the lack of screen windows in the kitchen area, bugs come in while the windows are open for air. Its is tough to eat in peace and relax. While the booking says we are renting the entire house, that is not exactly true. Upon arrival, we realize there is a resident living under our main floor, with two cats and a big dog. Essentially, our booking is more like a three bedroom apartment instead of the entire house as advertised.
