Secluded in San Marcos
This house is nestled in a small organic coffee farm. The bungalow is built in the beautiful decorative guava trees overlooking the grand Lake Atitlan and its  mystic looking volcanoes.  The  windows open to the feel of the outdoors and the terrace above has stunning sunrise and sunset views. The adobe finish gives it a consistent comfortable temperature. Along with a sunrise lake front is a sunset on either side of a point that jets out high above the lake. This is the original volcanic rim that formulated all the volcanoes seen from the lake. CasaSita has access to this point. It is a spectacular view. This is an exclusive location and opportunity included. The bungalow is one room, a single occupancy that is also suitable for a couple.  It is constructed of logs harvested right from the land.  The old process of using volcanic pumice to sand and linseed oil to preserve gives a warm ambiance that is rare to find today. The bedding is a cotton mattress with a down topper.  This is a chemical free house. The property has many different lake access points and is situated conveniently close to road taxis and a beautiful 15 minute walk to the town of San Marcos. This town facilitates natural health interests with classes and spaâs.  Also includes many amenities to make your stay meaningful. With incredible vistas to relax in. It's very secluded.
This property is everything. It has access to the Lake, hiking trails and an amazing local guide who can assist you with every aspect of your trip from transportation to ideas on things to do.The living space is very comfortable and rustic. Please take note that you are in the middle of the jungle with this studio and therefore there is a plethora of bugs that will also accompany you on your stay. The view is breath taking it positioned directly across from San Pedro, I believe but donât quote me on that one. The point is that you have the view of a volcano, lake and trees to wake up to.The host is kind, flexible and top tier. Itâs evident that her guests experience during our stay is very important to her. She is very detail oriented. The breathtaking studio is equipped to cook homemade meals and has a gallon of drinking water available to enjoy. This place is truly especial. I was able to heal in different aspects and conquer some things. The energy here flows very nicely.I strongly recommend the shuttle service from La ciudad de Guatemala it made the whole experience seamless.I hope you find this review helpful and if you run across a vacancy I strongly encourage to book. You wonât regret it!
The mark of a good rental in my opinion is whether you would rent it again and l will! I loved the design and feel of this house. Above the living quarters was a nice deck with a great view and nice area for meditation and yoga. The bed and pillows were nice comfortable and clean. The outdoor bathroom had a great view the lake, yet was private.
There were plenty of Tuk-Tuks going by to catch a ride into San Marcos.
Alsoutdoor bathroom wascomfortable.
we loved Casa Sita. This house was obviously built with a lot of love, it is beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. Terry and Sita where great host and did everything to assure we had a great experience. We would definitively stay at casa Sita again.
This little gem is perfect for a couple who want to have a view of the lake with birds as their neighbours. This place is quiet and set in a perfect spot; the pictures on the website do not lie. Terry, the owner, is a delight and more than willing to help but she also gives you your privacy. It is situated just outside of San Marcos on the way to Tsunuma. It is between Casa Joyce and Casa Palo, lakeside with a blue gate and some bamboo at the bottom. We arrived by car, in the dark, so these directions are very helpful. Everything except your groceries is provided - even drinking water! The bathroom with a view is to die for! San Marcos has many ex-pats who live there or are there for extended visits and the Mayans live behind the lakeside village. All necessary provisions are available in the village which is an easy walk. There are a number of trails on the property and you can walk down to the waterfront. Be sure to check the water on the web before you swim. We can't thank Terry enough for our wonderful and unique visit.
perfect for a couple, beautiful views, perfect distance from town, private dock and lovely look outs
The property is simply perfect if you are looking for a quiet comfortable cabino in a beautiful setting. The kitchen is completely functional, the outdoor living spaces serene and comfortable and the property is full of sloping trails to look outs and private docks.
The property owners were friendly, accommodating, helpful and respectful of privacy. Every aspect of the building and property delighted us. A perfect and serene vacation experience.
