The hotel was in a perfect location and had a fantastic view from the balcony overlooking the Sedona red rocks. From the hotel, it was a quick walk to many shopping and dining options.The staff was super friendly and it was a seamless process to check in and out. I would definitely stay there again!

We were very disappointed that the pool and hot tub were out of order. We were really looking forward to using the hot tub. That said, the view from the room was to die for! There was a huge balcony to sit down and enjoy the view. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was minimal.

I’ve stayed at this hotel before and enjoyed it but this time the hot tub was closed. It was the main reason I booked here, to have a relaxing outdoor soak at the end of a long day. It was at check-in that they said it was closed. So frustrating because I definitely would have stayed somewhere else. There’s too many options in Sedona to have to stay somewhere without amenities.

We loved our stay at the Matterhorn Inn! The mountain view was stunning and the room was cozy. We were in the middle of all the shops and restaurants which was convenient. Room was clean. Breakfast was nothing special. Just some breakfast bars, oranges, apples, coffee. Not everyone drinks coffee. Other than the one day of a jack hammer starting at 7:30 in the morning.

The location cannot be beat and we loved the retro motel vibe. The bed was comfortable and the view was fantastic. We were bummed that the hot tub was out of order or drained for the season while we were there as it was one of our reasons for booking. When I called to confirm it would be open for our stay, they advised that it would be but that the pool would be closed due to the season. Overall a great place and would return.

We are glad we picked this for our first trip to Sedona. Would definitely stay here again. The room design is thoughtful and the balcony was large enough to sit and enjoy. The location is easy to drive north for hiking, and easy access to other park and ride lots (that do not require you to sit in traffic). The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. If you need more than a granola bar and yogurt, you’ll need to plan on grabbing breakfast out.
