Sedona Pines is a prize jewel of Sedona lodging - actually, of lodging anywhere. The price was way below expectations, the results were way above reasonable expectations. The cottage was so spacious, its kitchen amazingly well-equipped, the living room made it feel like home, and the surroundings are so blissfully quiet, pretty and peaceful! Out of town yet close to town. It's absolutely wonderful without being glitzy and expensive. Wow!

Called the office about scorpions in unit. Was told someone would be out with black light to check around. After waiting 2 hours, no one showed up. Called office was told someone came by but didn’t have a black light any way. Upon checkout, spoke with security who stated he was never told about the scorpions and yes he does have a black light. Other than that, the place was wonderful.

It was an interesting experience, and I’d stay at Sedona Pines again if I visit Sedona in the future. I liked my unit, which was right in front of a small pond. It was nice having an open view without anything blocking it. It would have been fun to have breakfast at the patio table, but there was an ashtray full of cigarette butts on it, so I didn’t use the table at all during my two-night stay. Walking into the unit felt like stepping into a larger version of an RV. Something about the layout reminded me of one, in a good way. It had everything I needed: a kitchen, bathroom, and plenty of storage. You can tell the couch and fabrics are pretty old, but it was fine. I also liked being able to park right next to the unit. I used the jacuzzi every night and really enjoyed it. They have 2 jacuzzis, one for everyone and one for adults. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Sedona Pines. Thank you.

Checked in and was told I needed to wait and meet with another person for my parking pass. Weird? Waited over 20 mins and that person was busy with another couple - I figured out while waiting that they were trying to waste your time with TIME SHARE INFORMATION. I was told my vehicle would be towed if I did not have a parking pass. I asked why? When I logged my make/model/license plate number in their system when I checked in. Then they told me I could come back the next day between 11am-5pm for my parking pass - told them again I would be gone all day. The lady holding the parking pass aggressively came out of the room and was incredibly rude to me about the parking pass. Got to my room and had no shampoo/conditioner or body wash. They gave you one pack of coffee. No room services Monday-Thursday. The rooms are very DATED! Which is not really an issue, but it's obvious they didn't even try to upkeep the little cabins. Dirty walls, baseboards, light peeped through the second exterior door. Neighbors were loud, side by sides left running unattended, I was blocked out of my parking spot by two truck and trailer combos. Went to the office to ask about where I could park and they didn't seem to care I was blocked out. Was told they were not allowed trailers but they still parked their all night and I had to deal with rude adults and children when I asked them if they could back up just a few feet so that I could park my car and safely load and unload.

Everything about this stay was great! I would definitely stay here again. Just beware they will hit you with the sales pitch the minute that you come in offering some free parking that you don’t really need but other than that everything was great!

Upon check-in, you have to speak to a time share sales person just to get a parking pass for your car. I should have read deeper into the reviews, as I was not expecting this. When I informed them up front that I was not interested in a time share, the salesperson became rude, making passive aggressive comments before finally giving us the parking pass. After a long day, all we wanted to do was get to our room and relax for a bit so this interaction really soured our stay. Cottages are small and older, but decently maintained and have everything that you need. It was very quiet, beds were comfortable. It is out away from town with downtown Sedona and Cottonwood being about 15 minutes or so. If it weren't for the staff and the timeshare sales tactics, we would have stayed here again.
