Beautiful hotel with clean rooms right in the heart of Old Town Cottonwood with easy access to nearby shops and restaurants. Staff is friendly and helpful. Love the free coffee station and convenient parking area.

Traveling with a group of 8 and introduced them to the Iron Horse. Fantastic location and loved the courtyard. The staff were not very helpful or friendly at any point but we would still stay here again.

Looks like the room was recently remodeled, but king size mattress and furniture were very old and uncomfortable. Air conditioner was so very loud and ran almost continuously which made it hard to get a good night's sleep. Both, my wife and I woke up more tired than when we went to bed. We won't be staying here again.

Our Favorite Cottonwood Hotel

This hotel is charming and comfortable, and located in a wonderful spot. From here we can walk to restaurants and shops, and to the hiking paths next to the Verde River. We'll stay here every time we're in Cottonwood, because there's still a lot to explore.

We were booked in a tiny room with an air conditioner in the only window. It was up a flight of stairs with a room opposite. I told the staff that it was unacceptable because I have had lung surgery. I received half of my Expedia payment. I found the whole thing dangerous to one's health and had there been a fire we may not have made it out alive.
