Beautiful hotel with clean rooms right in the heart of Old Town Cottonwood with easy access to nearby shops and restaurants. Staff is friendly and helpful. Love the free coffee station and convenient parking area.

Truthfully, The iron horse inn was terrible. The room was nothing like the pictures. I'm sure the used that app that help see how it would look with furniture and what not. The bed made squeaky noises. A/C took hours to cool down. Towels had brown stains. I could go on but what for. I hope the owner puts more effort in getting new towels and better beds. Sorry but not sorry.

Great location, very pretty and quiet courtyard. staff very nice. Room was clean and decorated really nice. It is an old building so the stairs were interesting (narrow and steep).

Verde Valley and the Iron Horse

Both a thumbs up. A day trip to Cottonwood for some wine tasting with a friend and just wanted a place to crash and the Iron Horse was perfect for that. Right on Main Street, steps away from the tasting rooms and Merkins, the beds were comfortable and had a fridge so you can store your wine from all the sampling. Free parking all over town, but definitely try and grab a spot in the back parking lot.

Initially there was confusion, some of it my fault, but Debbie did her due diligence to fix it. Upon Final check out however I was charged 3 times for one night that had to be charged separately. As it stands I am still owed one of the payments charged in error.
