A large wooden terrace surrounds the house on three sides, where you can barbecue together and sit under the starry sky until late in the evening. If you don't want to go inside at night, you can cozy up in the shelter for the night and spend the night in the fresh air.
The island of Sejerø has impressive nature, burial mounds and a church with frescoes to offer, plus there are some other activities for you. Visit the black house at the harbor, which was passed down from fisherman to fisherman and is now a fishing museum. You can also watch birds like cormorants and seagulls on the reef. In the summer, the House of Culture hosts some concerts and lectures, as well as other social events. Also explore the Narrative Sculptures that tell stories on this island or just spend quiet and relaxing hours on the beach!
