We were coming over by private boat but got weathered out. The owner called me and worked things out more than fairly. Will stay there my next trip over for sure.

The Sea Parrot Inn is super convenient to the ferry dock & the main street. The room was updated, clean and charming Alaskan. Perry, the Inn's owner, was kind, engaging and it's clear she really cares about the Inn and her guests' stay.

The property was centrally located in the town. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. I also liked that my room had it's own entrance to the outside without having to go through the house.

Great place to stay in Seldovia!

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in July and loved the Inn and its location across from the harbor. We stayed in the Red Herring room, which is spacious, cozy, and very clean. Being upstairs, it has a great view of the harbor and bay. There is a common living area and kitchen for guests to use. The rate is a bargain for the area and also includes a wonderful breakfast in the cafe downstairs. Mary is a gracious and friendly host. Seldovia is a laid back, peaceful little town - a great place to relax. We loved the hike to Outside beach and exploring the tide pools there. We highly recommend Seldovia and the Sea Parrot Inn.

Great place to stay in Seldovia!

My husband and I stayed here two nights in July and loved the Inn and the location by the harbor. The room was spacious, cozy and very clean. There is a common living room area and kitchen that we were able to use. The rate is a bargain for the area and also includes a delicious breakfast in the downstairs cafe. Mary is a very pleasant and gracious host. She has a wealth of knowledge about the area. Seldovia is a quiet little town - a great place to relax. We loved the hike to Outside beach and exploring some of the tide pools there. We highly recommend the Sea Parrot Inn.

Great central location

Great experience. Our goal on vacation was to get away and that is what we got. There is no tv, limited cell services (depending on your carrier) and there wasn't a housekeeping. But it was great! The owner is very pleasant and made us feel comfortable. As I stated no housekeeping but she may sure we had fresh towels and she was around enough if we had questions. We had body soap and an unmarked bottle (shampoo?) so bring your stuff for bathing. It was very rustic. 4 rooms total (upstairs full bed and downstairs two twin beds). Owner is finishing communal kitchen and there is a big gathering room with comfortable furniture. I'd go back.

A great experience in Seldovia

The room was clean, recently remodeled, beautiful and comfortable. The bathroom had heated floors which was great. The breakfast was beyond a regular hotel breakfast and included espresso drinks.

The enoerience

Because Expedia of the options it gave us, we thought the inn was in Homer. It wasn't! We had to ferry across the bay. We have a big problem with expedia putting all the "available places, within hundred miles on one page. The next time we looked for a place to stay in Skagway, it gave us options in Juneau...7 hours away by ferry, in Juneau!!!!!,

Fabulous, a great place to stay! Mary, the owner was very nice and friendly, easy to talk to. We also had wonderful breakfast burritos and coffee. We got to meet some very nice people staying and working at the hotel! I will definitely stay there again and tell my friends about it so the will have a great place to stay! Great location - more info needed

Wonderful people who worked hard to make our stay really nice. What wasn't stated is you need a fairy or air taxi to get there. Expedia blew it on this one! But after all was said & done, even with all the extra costs (significant) it wads great time. Should have all been stated up front.

Loved our stay at the Sea Parrot Inn - Thank you, Mary!

Better then expected! Lovely hostess, Mary, and beautiful B&B! Our room, The Red Herring Room, overlooked the Seldovia harbor and the main street of this charming little hideaway town! Mary made a lovely breakfast the next morning of quiche and fruit. Such a pleasant surprise! She also has an ice cream shop and bakery below the B&B.
