Stayed for a very short time (in late out early). Room was clean but basic. Frosted glass wet room/toilet, you need to be friends with the people you are sharing with!
Overall a good place to stay for the night. Owners are friendly and helpful. Bed is comfy. Private wet bathroom in the room is the best part. Some guests can be heard talking in the hallways late at night. No windows to circulate fresh air. Floors need to be swept and/or mopped to remove dust and stray hairs. Breakfast is basic. Towels are small. Corner store and public trans very close. I would stay here again.
I liked that all the rooms have their own bathroom and, I think, wifi. Breakfast was provided. Also it was very clean and nicely decorated. The owners are very kind and helpful as well. The location isn't super convenient. It's just across from a metro station, but that particular line has some long waiting times. It's helpful to look up its times online. Bus 143 goes north to insadong, but there's about a 15 min. walk to the station. There are closer buses, but I only used the 405 to go south, which was alright. But another plus is that you can walk to the lovely Han River.

Cosy place
Near to subway
Clean room and nice owners.
Rooftop for gathering.
10.mins away for a world class museum and national park for clean air, walking trail.
This is by far the worst hotel we have ever stayed in during 25 years of personal and business travel throughout the world. We left after 3 nights and moved to proper hotel. Rooms are clean, but absolutely minuscule. 'Breakfast' is defrosted bread that you can toast, and sometimes includes filter coffee. Wash your dishes afterwards. The 'kitchen' is on the roof terrace, only open 7-10am, so it is useless if you want to make a cup of tea at another time or you have an early morning appointment. Hotel is on 4th floor. Stairs are disgustingly dirty. Floor 1 is restaurant. Floor 2 and 3 have toilets (for restaurant...? They are always open to public...) Staff at courier company across the street start early and are very noisy. Hostels have much bigger, better accommodation and facilities. They are also lively and full of interesting people. Don Quixote is like a mausoleum.
Honestly didn't expect much for the amount paid and nothing exceeded my expectations. If you want a semi-clean, extremely small room for a night then this could be acceptable to some, but not all. I only needed one night thankfully and I wouldn't recommend more than that.
i feel good to stay there at this price. The room is clean n staff is helpful. The environment is quite n peaceful n near subway station. Also the room tempature is warm when outdoor is cold. The only defect is no restaurant there and we can only buy food fm 7/11. However, i will stay in Quixote if i wanna save money. it is worth to stay there at this price.
Very clean
Great staff
Near Yongsan base
Near Iteawon

The room was uncomfortably warm. The thermostat should have been turned down to a lower temperature.
An air filter would help with the air pollution.
I feel very conflicted about this review. The good part of me wants to offer the good review this place deserves. Yet, my more selfish side wants to keep this place a secret. It is my inexpensive, reliable, go to place when I hang out in Seoul every weekend.
Well worth the cost in my opinion. I found the location very convenient, as it was close by an airport limousine stop and right across the street from Seobinggo station. It was very easy to get to any of the tourist spots via subway from Don Quixote Stay. The rooms are small but have everything one would need.
This guesthouse lived up to my expectation, I was needing a private and quiet, yet conducive place to work on my task, and this guesthouse has all the right qualities. Recommend highly for business-related travellers who needs cheap alternatives. Near to Turkey embassy in Seoul.
Surprisingly, I was told by owner that they operated this guesthouse for only 6 months. However, their hospitality are superb. They are very respectful.
Being a new guesthouse, it is clean and tidy. Cleaning takes place daily. It is not far away from the Han River park, where I took a few evening walk before dinner. Neighbourhood is quiet and there are not much eateries and no pubs (conducive environment for me during my stay). For those who are not okay with stairs, then please look for other guesthouse as this guesthouse is situated on the 4th level. There is a lift, but not sure if it can take human (luggages are definitely okay)
Near to Seobinggo Metro too, thus travelling to different part of Seoul is rather convenient in my view

Very kind owners.
The owner was very very kind, but I had to leave early.
The room was clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. I love the rooftop for breakfast. The only thing I would change is to put curtains over the little window that overlooks a hall that's always lit. I have to cover it with blankets to go to sleep.
I stayed for 2 nights. Check in was a breeze, the room was super clean and comfy. I'm not sure why this place is rated as a 2 star, it should be a 3 or above. The staff are phenomenal, they give you a tour of the rooftop and explain about breakfast etc. They also will answers any questions you may have of the area. This place is right across the street from a subway stop and very near itaewon. The view from the rooftop is beautiful at night. Namsan tower and the city view is breath taking. I would recommend this place to anyone. The only down side I have would be that this place is located on the 4th floor of a building...with no elevator so if you have heavy luggage.....I don't know what to tell you. All in all......Great place and I'll be booking again!!
I had a great time at this hotel or guest house. Whatever it was. You basically get a tiny one room to sleep in. It has only a single bed, a desk with TV and a tiny private bathroom. What I liked is the fact that for this price, I can stay in a room alone and have a private bathroom. Regardless of how small it was, it was perfect for one person to stay for a short time. Each room has their own router for wifi. There room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Again the room was small but I am claustrophobic and I loved the room.
The day when I stayed there, I was quite busy and booked it around 7pm and arrived there around 10:30pm. The area felt a little less comfortable mostly because it was so late so it was very dark because it was more of a residential area but it was just a few minutes from Seobingo station maybe even less than that. I got up there and there were signs in English and Korean. My room has a post-it note with my name on it so I went in and the owner came down to check if if everything in the room was okay and then he took me to the rooftop garden to show me everything and we had a conversation up there. His English isn't perfect of course but he is quite good at it.
I highly recommend this place.
