Have a look of the detailed description of the three apartments of the Residence: âNinfa Apartmentâ, âSermoneta Apartmentâ and "Tellus Apartment".
Below, some Informations about Sermoneta: things to do, place to visit, itineraries, monuments, restaurants...
Sermoneta has changed little since its medieval conception, and the enormous fortress of Caetani Castle in the centre of the village, looms over and dominants the town and the valley below. Today, the castle hosts courses, seminars, and prestigious concerts. In July, there are concerts in the castle by well-known contemporary musicians and orchestras. The Caetani Castle is open every day from 10 to 13. This medieval town is also known for the famous 'Ninfa Garden' that contains at least 19 varieties of deciduous Magnolia, along with birch, aquatic Iris and a sensational variety of Japanese maples growing in the eight hectares of the garden. To visit Ninfa Garden see the web site "" The unique historic qualities of Sermoneta live on its Romanesque Cathedrals of S. Michele (XI century), Santa Maria Assunta (XII century, also famous for its frescoes of Benozzo Gozzoli), San Giuseppe (XVI century), San Francesco (erected in XI century by Knights Templar) and the Cistercian Abbey of Valvisciolo (XIV century). All of these churches are in the historical centre of the medieval town near the apartments. Don't forget the camera! The historical centre is full of Open air restaurants and di bufala, prosciutto crudo, fettuccine ai funghi porcini and delicious italian wines are waiting for you!
The villages offers year around Festas, and in particular in the month of May, there are concerts every weekend, as well as art exhibits, painting classes for children and much more. There is a medieval Festa of the Madonna di Vittoria in October, a Polenta festival in January, and other magical events all year long.
Sermoneta thanks for its medieval characterization has been the set for many movies like the Italian âNon ci resta che piangereâ starring Roberto Benigni and Massimo Troisi or the American âSilkâ from the book by Alessandro Baricco. Also the film director Franco Zeffirelli (rewarded for 14 Oscar Nominations) fell in love with Sermoneta calling it 'The Paris of Italy'.
Marco was an amazing host, always on hand to help us, from the moment we had paid for the trip he's communication was brilliant, the apartment is beautiful, the pictures are just what you see on the advert, sitting out on the balcony as the sunsets was amazing. We are looking forward to going back in the future. Grazie Marco
Had a lovely time in Le Camere Pinte apartment. Located in the beautiful hilltop town of Sermoneta with its castle, lovely cobbles streets and great views. A good number of restaurants locally provided you are happy with going up stairs. We found however that there is quite alot of overlap in the menu choices between the different resultants and many of them were closed on Mondays and Tuesday. Marco was very helpful and made check in easy despite us arriving late at night. You need to be a bit careful with the electrics- only one large appliance at once (donât put the dishwasher, washing machine or oven on together). Unfortunately we didnât know this which led to a late night call out for Marco (sorry)Pool was lovely but looks a bit different to the pictures as they have now built up a little more around it with an outdoor events room, but still lovely for a cool off. Local kids holiday club were using the pool for about 1 hour each day when we were staying (the summer holidays). Lots to do in the area if you have a car. I recommend the Ninfa gardens and ruins. We also went to Rome, Pompeii, and zoomarine (aquarium and water park) which were lovely. If you want to visit the castle in Sermoneta you have to book in advance and guided tour is only in Italian. Would recommend this apartment, it was a lovely place to stay. We cooked quite a bit in the kitchen but if you want to do also, it might be helpful to know that there's no toaster or microwave.
We had a wonderful stay, and the town was extra special.
I would suggest that Marco include some necessities that others include with their units. More toilet paper (there was a total between three bathrooms) of about a third of a roll in total, a couple small packets of shampoo, two little slivers of hand soap, no dishwashing or laundry detergent. These items are normally included because for foreign renters it isn't easy to find simple items like this and it should be included in the rental. Other than that the appartment was very clean and plesant.
The property and management are first rate. Close to much history, many cultural attractions and natural beauty. Strong management and communication with the owner. Phenomenal views. A remarkable value. Would return; strongly recommend.
Marco is a great host, very good personal contact and really helpful. Spacious appartement, well appointed and superb view of the valley. Swimming pool at agriturismo very nice, just a very short drive and well worth the effort.
This apartment has well proportioned rooms. The bedrooms are a good size and has a lovely big kitchen/dining area. The view from the large balcony over the Pontine plain towards the mediterranean sea is stunning - no better place to watch the sun go down! Sermoneta is a beautiful peaceful village with a good choice of restaurants. Our host, Marco, was so welcoming ,speaks very good english and give us lots of useful advice re travelling into Rome etc and things to do in the area. A lovely place to rest and realax.

Spectacular views in a modern apartment
A recently renovated apartment within a traditional hilltop Italian village. Amazing view from the terrace over Latina and the coast and just a short walk into the village with restaurants, bakery, fruit and veg shop and a few souvenir shops.
The apartment was extremely clean and comfortable, although the kitchen equipment was quite limited. The apartment is located on top of a steep hill and a hire car will be necessary as the main supermarket and pool are located at the bottom of the hill.
Marco was extremely helpful, friendly and spoke fantastic English. He was happy to help with any issues and gave great recommendations.
The pool was great, very clean with toilets and a bar selling refreshments and we mostly had the pool to ourselves (however it is shut on Mondays).
We would highly recommend a stay at the apartment to enjoy real the Italian lifestyle.
