Love the View - Beautiful Mountain Escape w/Hot Tub, Pool Table, Arcade & WiFi

Welcome to ‘Love the View’! Located in Dogwood Farms mountain community. You will be able to relax and take in the spectacular mountain views while dining outside on the patio or simply starting your day with a cup of coffee and your favorite book. With two wonderful covered decks, you will have plenty of options to pick your favorite spot.

Walking up the few steps onto the deck leads you to the beautiful view of the Pigeon Forge Valley. With two wonderful covered decks, you will have plenty of options to pick your favorite spot whether it’s enjoying dinner outside, relaxing in a rocking chair, grabbing an afternoon nap in the hammock or sipping a sweet tea while swinging on the porch swing. During the summer months you will also be able to see the fireworks shot off every night at Dollywood from the deck. All guests are provided free access to the seasonal Pool and fishing pond (year-round) located at Honeysuckle Meadows Pool & Deli.

Located on the main level of Love the View is a fully equipped kitchen and dining area with enough seating for 6. Keurig coffee machine (pods not provided) and regular coffee pot (coffee and filters provided) available. The cozy living room provides you and your guests with leather couches to watch your favorite shows, free wifi, or enjoying the gas fireplace on those chiller nights (Fireplace is seasonal and will be turned off May 1 to Sept 30th). Also, on the main level is a king size bedroom with a flat screen tv with an adjoining bathroom with a large jacuzzi tub and shower.

Venture downstairs and you will find a pull-out queen sleeper sofa and couch along with a pool table, TV and DVD player, lots of board games, cards and books. A NEW Multi-Arcade with 60 Games including all the classic favorites like PacMan, Donkey Kong, Galaga was added in June 2021. You can conveniently access the lower deck where you will enjoy the relaxing hot tub which was upgraded in June 2021. Also, on the lower level is a king size bedroom with a full bath nearby. Washer and dryer are located on the lower level with ironing board and iron. There is also a water filtration system thru the entire cabin.

Blacktop road all the way with the last 2mins on a one lane road. No 4x4 required except for the winter months if there is snow. If you are not familiar with driving in the mountains which entails windy and steep roads recommend you arrive for your first time to the cabin during the daylight. I also have a video of the drive through the neighborhood that I can share.

The cabin is conveniently located 3 miles to the beautiful Foothills Parkway, 6 miles to Honeysuckle Meadows Pool & Deli in Wears Valley, 8 miles to Pigeon Forge, 12 miles to downtown Gatlinburg and 8 miles to The Great Smoky Mountains Metcalf Bottoms.

Starter pack provided for essentials (soap, shampoo, paper towels, laundry detergent, dish soap, dishwashing detergent and toilet paper). If staying multiple days please plan accordingly. Charcoal for the park style grill is not provided.

The cabin will be decorated for Christmas in early November to January based on availability.

Love the View has a motion surveillance system recording the driveway. All other areas of the home are private.

This cabin was amazing. The views were breathtaking. The cabin was immaculate, so clean and beautifully decorated. The extra attention to detail - cozy blankets, extra pillows, night lights, wonderful rocking chairs outside - made our stay that much better. We loved the arcade games and the hot tub was perfect at night. We will definitely be renting this cabin again.

The cabin was clean, comfortable and perfect for enjoying family dinners, games, relaxing in the hot tub or taking in spectacular views from either of the two decks with great seating and swings. The location is perfect too. Close to many nearby attractions and yet all with secluded mountain top views. I will be back and will definitely stay at least 7 full nights next time. Very relaxing place to get back to nature and bond with family and friends. Check in was easy and host provided clear instructions for a great experience.

Check in was a smooth process, the cabin was very clean and the view is amazing. This cabin felt cozy and was perfect for our weekend get away. Dawn provided items you would normally forget like dish soap, laundry pods and extra trash bags. She gave us a heads up on some damage from a previous guest that she was planning to fix but couldn't before we arrived. The roads are a bit curvy however worth it.

Relaxing and Beautiful

We loved staying at the cabin. The cabin was beautiful and clean. The hot tub was warm and clean. The owner left plenty of supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning spray and laundry soap. This was an addition I haven’t seen at many places we have rented, but it helped to keep it clean, so there was t as much to do during check out. We would stay here again. I would advise thinking about the weather if you don’t have 4 wheel drive. There is at least one hill that my van probably wouldn’t have made it up if the weather had been bad. It also could have just been my comfort level with it. The first day my tires slipped, but after a few days I was navigating it like a pro.

Great cabin, great view, great location

Stayed with the family entire week for Thanksgiving. Everyone loved the cabin and the view. Although the cabin is all one needs to spend some quality time with the family, the cabin's proximity (20 minutes drive) to all the attractions was an added benefit. Planty of choices to eat out as well, do consult the owner's suggested restaurants list, you won't be disappointed. All in all, everyone had a great time. The only downside, and to my wife's relief, no bears came to visit us :-)

Wonderful Stay

Beautiful cabin with all the extras! Dawn has thought of everything! From the laundry pods, to hairdryers, handheld mirrors, books, movies, games, and loads more! Cabin is VERY clean and beutofully decorated! Master bed is on the firm side, which is perfect for us! Our kiddo loved the pool table and arcade game!! Upon arriving we werent sure about the closeness of the 2 cabins next door, but once your inside and on the back porch with the AMAZING view you dont even notice them! Dawn chrcked in on us to make sure we arrived safely and to ensure there were no issues! We've been staying in cabins for 10 years and this was a first!!! Thank you, Dawn, for a wonderful stay at Love The View!!!
