Water didn’t get that hot in the jacuzzi tub. The plug outlets in the downstairs bedroom kept throwing the breaker with tv and phone charger plugged in. Hot tub was great and a very beautiful cabin

We had a wonderful time! We loved everything about this property. The only thing was the amount of steps. There are tons of steps. No handicap access for those who need it. Kitchen appliances could be upgraded as far as the mixer and food processor. But other than that we had the most wonderful time and loved every minute.

Great cabin and host

I booked this cabin for a girls’ trip to celebrate my birthday. Before I ever arrived, the host was personable and answered all my questions. When there was a possibility of bad weather, the host reached out to inform me that snow was coming and made a suggestion regarding safety. This cabin had more than enough space for my friends, great views, and plenty to do. The fire place and grill are gas if you’re planning to utilize them during your stay. A couple things to notate, it is a cabin with very little insulation in certain areas. For instance a few rooms would have the heat on to the point that it was overwhelmingly hot and other areas would still be extremely cold. In addition, this is best for family or friends. This is not the best for multiple couples on a romantic trip because you can hear quite a bit of conversations very clearly from other areas of the cabin due to the lack of insulation. This cabin is on a very very steep hill (that’s paved) and it’s stunning, but if your vehicle does not have 4 wheel drive, that could cause some difficulty. Also watch the weather because you do not want to get stuck if it snows. Overall, this was a great experience and I would definitely stay again because of the friendliness of the host and the beautiful views.

Wonderful Thanksgiving stay

Nice cabin with nice decks all around. A few things to note. The paved road gets narrow, curvy and steep, very steep as you get to the cabin driveway. To get to the main floor (2nd floor), you have the climb a good many stairs. Overall great place, would stay again but not in the winter, not a drive I would want to make in the snow. I only needed to contact the host once during our stay, he answered immediately and was very polite.

Wonderful stay in August 2023

What a great cabin! Our family of 9 had plenty of room to spread out and relax in our own space but yet cozy enough to enjoy game night around the kitchen table. The private deck that walks you into the woods was a huge hit with the grandkids. The sound of the running stream from the screened-in porch and porch swings was super relaxing. We would absolutely rent this cabin again! * A few things to note The drive up to the cabin and the driveway are steep and curvy. The cabin is spread out over 3 levels with a bedroom and bathroom on each floor. There is no main bathroom so the person on the main floor where the living room and kitchen are located will have to share their bathroom (unless someone wants to climb stairs) The second living room is located on the third floor (great bonus). There is a sitting room off the dining room and the screened-in porch is off the sitting room. Lots of stairs. The hot tub is secluded and you can hear the stream flowing. The kitchen work area is small but manageable.

The property was beautiful. Cabin was decorated in a nutral animal theme. The dri e was steep however there is parking at the bottom. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Many decks and balconies.

Beautiful and clean property

We had three adults and six children ages 6 to 13. We all enjoyed the space, pool table and hot tub. Parking is steep but manageable. Plenty of paper products, soap, dishwasher pods were provided. Take your own laundry detergent/softener. Bedrooms could use some extra pillows; one to fill between the headboard and mattress and one for your head. One is not enough for most people. Bathrooms were in good condition. Washer and dryer were clean. Rental advertised a PlayStation 3, which our kids were excited about, but the game remotes don’t take batteries and there were no charging cords, so they weren’t able to play. Kitchen was pretty well equipped. There are lots of pots, pans, baking dishes, mixing bowls and a cutting board. A spatula or two would be a nice addition. We took beach towels for the hot tub, but there are plenty of bath towels, as well as wash clothes and hand towels. Bottom of microwave handle was broken, so you have to pull it open from the top. Third level dresser drawers were broken and fell out and almost fell on our feet when we tried to open them for use. Other than the PS3 remotes, microwave handle and dresser, everything else was is pretty good condition. Watch out for the sitting room coffee table though; it has stuffed birds displayed inside, and appears to have glass on top, as there is glass on the sides ( think large fish tank) but there is NO glass on top! It is not a coffee table. Do not set your drink down. It could really be removed altogether.

Beautiful & Well Stocked

Host was so pleasant & easy to work with. I am used to providing my own trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, & dish soap but there was plenty at the property, more than the typical starter set. Kitchen stocked with every appliance/utensil/cookware item you could possibly need. Loved the decor, plenty of room & great location! Will stay again.

Best vacation ever

This amazing cabin hosted my husband, our four children, and my elderly parents. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook. The porch allowed us to enjoy the outside view and observe wild life. The location was the best; everything was near by.
