Charming & Quiet Mtn-Top Cabin w Grand Panoramic Mountain Views!! DOG Friendly!

Escape to this quiet mountain-top cabin with giant panoramic windows and amazing views. The log cabin home, aptly named Crosswinds, is perched among the treetops, above the rolling hills of the Smoky Mountains and all that it has to offer. Nestled between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, this cabin is near hundreds of miles of National Park trails, Dollywood, and the Arts and Crafts Community – all within a 10 mile radius.

After a day of activities, come home to beautiful sunsets overlooking the mountains as you relax in the rocking chairs or hot tub on the back deck. Take a dip in the community pool during the summer months. Or get cozy with an evening fire in our family room, surrounded by forest trees while watching TV or playing board games.

Our cabin is thoughtfully decorated in a rustic cabin style. The large loft space has a king bed, bathroom, arcade-style game console and foosball table, while the master bedroom has a queen bed, fireplace and private bathroom.

The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking, entertaining and dining. For mornings or nights in, enjoy family meals at the large rustic dining table while feeling immersed in nature.

The owners are excited to share their second home with you and hope you’ll love their cabin as much as they do!

We loved this cabin in the mountains. It had Everything we needed and was super cozy. We needed up being there during the bad winter storm. The host, Amanda, took excellent care for us Eve when we lost power to the cabin from the storm they moved us immediately! I’ve already sent the link to my friends to book!

Disappointing. Small Cabin. 1st flr bedroom very small. Large bedframe left little room to walk around. Constantly bumping into lower frame next to dresser. Bed was high and difficult to get into. High bed and small space made dressing difficult. Pull out futon in living room was uncomfortable for grown grandchildren. Upstairs bathroom also small and difficult to maneuver in. Pictures showed 6 chairs at dining room table, but there were only 4. We were not able to sit together at table to eat or play games. Entry steps also were not in good condition and slanted, difficult to step up. After reading about watching Dollywood fireworks we were disappointed to learn they don't begin till June 14th after we leave. Issues with black ants in cabin and on deck. Finally no water Wednesday evening and Thursday morning was a problem, with having to fill tanks from hot tub. Extra hour checkout did help in morning. Would not recommend for family of six or elder adults. An update would be recommended.

First Get Away

We loved it so much just getting away and loving the scenery, that we didn’t leave the house. Enjoyed the Mornings, Afternoons ,and Nights sitting on the balcony and enjoying the fresh air. Watching the sun go down at night.

On the side of a Mountain

The drive to the cabin is definitely scary at first if you’ve never driven mountain roads before. Cabin is literally on the side of a mountain. The deck is about 30 feet off the ground (we somehow had a raccoon visit us while we were sitting in the hot tub one night! He was totally a gentleman.) Cabin was the perfect size for our family of four. Our kids loved the hot tub and the games provided. Everything is about a 15 minute drive, this is because it takes roughly 10 minutes to drive down the mountain side. The sunsets were the most beautiful we’ve seen! Cabin could use some updating, some of the windows are fogged but overall, it was a really fun getaway for our family! Pool was not open during our stay in March.

Such a cute cozy get away

Intimate getaway

Pleasant stay

The property looked smaller than the pictures but was fine for us. It was a good location to drive to Gatlinburg, Great Smokey national park and of course Pigeon Forge which we didn’t spend much time in. The beds were comfortable and they supplied plenty of linens. The kitchen stock was pretty meager. The beautiful picture windows were pretty dirty and even had some huge cobwebs on a couple windows. Otherwise the place was clean. The last night we had a huge thunderstorm with wind blowing rain against the cabin. Water started leaking in under the baseboards and in some of the windows. We lost power for 5 hours which couldn’t be helped but there were no candles or flash lights. Thankfully we had driven and had flashlights in the car. Overall a pleasant stay.

getaway for a week

we had a great week away ,the cabin was very nice but needs some work . the windows in the living room need replaced and some kind of blinds or curtains on them to block the sun in the evening ,it was 96 outside and the a/c never stopped running because the sun was right on it . also the weeds out front need sprayed and the trees out side did block the best part of the view ,I would have them cut down . we really enjoyed our stay and over all the cabin was very nice we would go back again !

Nothing like the pictures

Very dated cabin thats unkept. Dirty walls, Dirty windows, dirty couch and table. Deck looks old and unsafe. Landscaping is overgrown with weeds. Host was unwilling to let us just cancle and get a refund to go elsewhere until we contacted vrbo. It took us 5 hours on the phone to get it cancelled and get the refund. Ruined our 1st night in Tennessee

Not worth it

I rarely leave reviews but I wished I would have known before I rented this cabin. It was clean and nice location but the view of the mountains and sunsets were blocked with trees. The cabin needs some TLC. Deck and entrance porch needs painted or at least cleaned. The inside was ok but very worn and a lot of bulbs burned out, one ceiling fan didn't work. A little attention and some updating would be nice. A lot of other newer Cabin options real close and would never rent this one again. Sorry to be negative but I wished I would have known this.
