Rooms were clean. Fireplace would not work and owner sent someone out the next day. Service completed. Cabin could use some upgrades. Bathroom off of bedroom needs to have brighter lighting. You could not see anything in the mirror. Living room reclining couch, the right side as you are looking at the couch, the recliner is broken. Kitchen needs updated knives. Nothing was sharp and the utensils in the container had a spider on it when I took it out of the container. I washed everything before we used the utensils. We could have used more dishwashing detergent for the 5 days we were there. Had to wash dishes by hand 1 night. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner there every day except one night. Directions were hard to follow due to the fact that we were coming from the opposite direction. The road was very steep and had potholes and not easy to drive on. Overall, as a previous cabin rental owner, cabin was ok. These are suggestions to help you with your future rental clientele. If I was rating your cabin I would give it a 7/10.

Cabin was great and exceeded our expectations!!! We had a great time! Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. 20 minute drive to Pigeon Forge but it was worth it for the views!! Thanks once again to Don and Margaret, you guys were very kind and willing to help.

Lovely Stay!

This cabin was amazing for our family! We had 3 adults and 4 kids ages 4 & under! I have no complaints except the view from the cabin in the pictures is not entirely accurate. It has grown up a lot and you have trees blocking the Mountain View. You can still see some mountains but it is not a huge Mountain View like pictured. Overall though, besides the view, the cabin was perfect and we enjoyed every minute of it! Thank you!

Beautiful

We had the best week at the simply golden cabin with our family of 6 and our dog. Very spacious cabin that had everything we needed for our stay. Had a very secluded feel with being surrounded by trees. Beautiful views from the upstairs. Large outdoor space with fenced in firepit. A short drive to all attractions in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Will definitely return.

Great cabin with great views!!

We stayed in this cottage for 8 days and we had a great time. The views were awesome and a couple of mornings we saw about 20 deer!! The location is nice as it is close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We drove to Knoxville a couple of times and it was easy took us about 45 mins. There was plenty of towels And anything else you may need. I would stay here again for sure!!

Family Christmas

My family and I arrived the day after Christmas and had the best time. The cabin was exactly as portrayed. The neighborhood was beautiful as was the view. We did go into Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge but with so many people there finding things to do was difficult; instead we went back to the cabin and played pool, card games and just enjoyed being there with each other. I would recommend this cabin for families and plan to rebook when you travel there again. The hosts were so accommodating especially when I had to add a guest. Made the process easy.

Peace and quiet

The cabin was perfect for our family. It was very clean, perfect location (close to town but away from the busyness), and amazing views. The owners were in contact prior to and also after our arrival to ensure we arrived safely and the property met our expectations. I feel like they were available at any time should we have needed them. We will be staying here again in the future.

Quiet Paradise

Our stay here was beyond exceptional. It was so quiet and relaxing! The views were gorgeous and watching sunset from the rocking chairs in the living room was a nice ending to great days. We didn’t hear any neighbors which was a huge plus! Seeing the snow caps on the mountains was also a pleasant surprise. The cabin was so clean and well-kept. The beds were very comfy and the amount of seating for everyone was wonderful. We cooked some great meals and enjoyed family style around the large dining room table. It was roughly 15-20 minutes from the PF strip, allowing us to come and go throughout the day without issue. We were able to check in early and the owners communicated great.

Simply Golden

The name of the cabin sums it up...Simply Golden. The cabin was clean and comfortable and the views spectacular. We did a lot of daytripping and it was a nice place to return to for rest and relaxation.

Family gathering

Simply Golden was a perfect venue for our family vacation to Tennessee last month. There were 6 adults and our 10 year old grandson. The house had plenty of space for all of us and we enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and hot tub. The only downside is that it is difficult to navigate to it, could be better signage. Bathroom towels could use an upgrade. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful mountain canin

My sister and I came together on this trip as we try to do every year. This is the first time we’ve stayed at this cabin and we have absolutely loved it. Very secluded, good privacy, very clean and exactly as advertised in the pictures and the detailed description. Don and Margaret were so incredibly responsive. We contacted them one night to see how to figure out Roku and they texted me three or four times within 30 to 40 minutes. I greatly appreciate their help and their willingness to do all that we had asked for. we will definitely be back!
