Rugs were stained, desk chair peeling, some sort of brown nasty substance on the handle in the shower, mold over the ceiling in the shower. All housekeeping did was empty trash pails, if there was paper on the floor by the pail, they left it. At one point our keys stopped working. Went to office and ang all o got was oh. Then he reprogrammed the keys. No explanation, no sorry for the inconvenience. Nothing.would NOT stay here again.

Room itself was decent, the beds were nice and the carpet was decent and not worn. Bath tub and shower was rough, needs to be updated/replaced. I did see 4 cockroaches in the room at night though. Not cool! I told the front desk and they said they would get exterminator out.

We have stayed here twice and enjoy the quiet and convenience of the location. The hotel has been clean both times and the staff friendly. We would recommend this place and will stay again

The room was not at all as advertised or rated on Expedia. It was old, holes in the ceiling tiles, stains on the carpet, free breakfast was a grab/go muffin, dingy bathroom, dirty windows, A/C didnt work (full blast and it was hot in the room)....I didn't want to touch anything. We didn't stay, we packed up and went to another hotel. I was waiting for the roaches/rats to start scurrying around....it was really, really bad.

The cleaning is terrible too dirty, bad facilities the rooms smell very very bad, the air conditioners do not work well and make a lot of noise, it is impossible to sleep because of the noise of the people who stay there, the lights had problems and did not turn off all night in short a very very bad experience and I do not recommend it

The positive: staff that we dealt with were friendly. I asked for extra towels and all he had were pool towels, though. We did not use the pool. Our river view balcony was not what it was hyped up to be; though the 8 or so raccoons we got to talk to was admittedly fun. The balcony left little to be desired; i would not sit in the chairs at all. Little table was worse. Bed was hardish but comfortable. Seemed clean but i didn't want to investigate too hard. Floors were absolutely disgusting though. I would not recommend walking around barefoot. Shower had black mold, and something I can only describe as dried blood on the "conserve water" sign. Never turned on the air because they were gross; I was afraid to see what blew out of it. Mini muffins and coffee in the lobby were it for the "free breakfast". How this hotel was rated an 8 on hotels.com is beyond me. We will not stay there again.

Unfortunately we were not told ahead of time that the elevators were broken and has been since the end of August. I know it's been broken that that long because another traveler told me. Also the room on the 3rd floor, with the rocking chairs, was closed because they had to put their cleaning cart in there. I stayed in the same room that I did about 6 months ago and I couldn't believe the difference in the room. The carpet was so nasty and stained, the chair at the desk had all the vinyl peeling off, the bathroom ceiling had lots of mold, the hanging card that talks about using towels twice was stuck up in the bathroom ceiling between tiles, there had to previously been a large dog because the door separating the rooms has large scratch marks and the pillows need replaced. We did enjoy sitting outside watching the scenery and wildlife. Since I've stayed here previously I already knew to bring cleaner and rags to clean the chairs and table outside. I'm just really shocked with the difference in this motel in a short amount of time. I really hope that measures are taken and not just the same response that I have read in previous reviews. If I stay here again I will definitely ask to see the room first. I'm really hoping I see an improvement because I've been coming here for at least 15+years. It just takes management making sure certain things are getting done correctly.

Room was not swept mopped or vacummed before or during our stay. Sheets and pillow cases were on inside out. There were dead bugs and food that looked like it had been there for awhile. Had a nice sized balcony with chairs, and all was dirty. Could not use it.

It’s a really good option for a short stay and affordable. Second time and we’re planing to come back. The rooms are nice and perfect if you travel with kids, teens or friends and want to stay together but with some privacy.
