Just 5 miles east and a 10 minute drive from The Farmhouse, you’ll find Skyline Drive, the Appalachian Trail, numerous hiking trailheads. There is exceptional nighttime stargazing from anywhere in the area.

Public Access to the river via Riverside Park is less than a 5 minute drive to the Shenandoah River, with tubing, kayaking, lounging, and fishing. The house is situated between the Massanutten Resort and the Shenandoah National Park Swift Gap Run Entrance/Blue Ridge Parkway. Within 35 minutes are the beautiful Luray Caverns.
Within 25 minutes are the Dukes and James Madison University and Harrisonburg "Rocktown", with many restaurants and breweries.


*All bedrooms feature high rated mattresses, luxurious bedding. All bed linens and towels are provided (please bring river towels). The bedrooms and the living room have thermal and 100% black-out curtains.
