The home was perfect for a quiet pet friendly weekend getaway. The host was prompt with communication and the home felt very welcoming for me and my 2 dogs. The fenced in backyard was ideal especially when enjoying the hot tub or reading a book outside. I was happy to know my dogs were secure and I didn’t have to worry. The kitchen is well stocked and had everything I needed. I loved the gas fireplace. It was very easy to use a warned the home promptly. I would recommend this home and am already thinking about when we can return!

House warm and welcoming upon arrival. It was 67 degrees inside, and mid-30's outside. Neighborhood is very dark! but the porch light assisted us to see the home from the street. Beds were clean and a good size w/plenty of pillows. Tons of towels as well. Hot water is very hot and doesn't take long! So be cautious (caught me off guard a few times) but never ran out of hot water. The ability to adjust the heat in different rooms was helpful, as there are 3 mini-splits. Outdoor units vibrate the walls but didn't bother us. We did use the gas stove. It puts out a lot of heat. Was nice to enjoy dinner and watch a movie by the stove.

The cabin was a great fit for our long weekend in the greater Lassen area. The property was accessible, and well situated in the greater landscape of the National Park and National Forest, with lots of side adventures, hikes, and things to explore, within an hour of the front door. The home was clean, well maintained, and made for a seamless invitation into the Lassen area. Fall weather was in peak form and the fireplace and hot tub were nice touches to really savor the season. 10/10 would recommend!

Calling All Explorers

This simple, clean, and roomy cabin was the perfect spot for exploring Lassen and the immediate area with the family. It had all the basic requirements needed for cooking meals after a day of fun. The pizza place in Shingletown is great, too. The spa was very welcome after strenuous hikes. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were well stocked. The washer and dryer kept our towels and bathing suits clean and dry. The neighborhood is quiet and perfect for evening walks with the dog. Wish we would have brought the kids’ bikes. The WIFI works great, cellular not so good if you have ATT. I highly recommend this place for your Lassen adventure.

Comfortable and clean place to stay

Wanted a comfortable place to stay near Lassen, and this fit the bill. The kitchen was nice and well-equipped. The hot tub was easy to use. It was easy to find. We weren't there for very long, so not too much to say, but I'd stay there again. The host was also accommodating when we had to rebook our stay when our original plan was ruined due to a fire that had Lassen closed
