Conveniently located right across from Shreveport Regional Airport and just off I-20, this hotel is ideal if you need a quick, functional stay near the airport. The room was surprisingly spacious with a nearly full-size fridge, microwave, and hot plate—definite pluses. However, the property is much older than the pictures suggest. The TV was outdated, the bathroom fixtures were worn, and the overall condition of the building shows its age. It felt clean enough, but not upscale or even average by today’s standards. The area felt a bit sketchy after dark, though the parking lot was well lit. If you’re just passing through solo like I was, it gets the job done. For a family or longer stay, I’d probably look elsewhere. Overall: 2.5 out of 5 stars—functional, but set your expectations accordingly.

I forgot to call ahead to verify the pool was open, and my son was very disappointed that it wasn’t. I also felt like the pictures online made it look newly renovated, but a lot of things were in disrepair. There was a basketball-sized soft spot in the floor that startled us every time we stepped on it, and a full length crack in one of the windows. I reported both to the front desk after check in to ensure we were not charged for them. There was rust on the metal fixtures in the room, and the door didn’t close all the way unless we pushed hard. The room served its purpose, but we would not stay there again. There was a sketchy vibe to the area that made me feel the need to check on my car several times.

The staff was kind and courteous but the building and things are all battered. Fridge thawed out and water was everywhere, smoke alarm beeped all day/night, chair in our room had burns and was dirty and the general maintenance of the building is very poor.

Don’t do it! We’ve frequented Country Inn in Flagstaff Arizona and the were never disappointed. However I must say this Country Inn falls short of decent. Very filthy. It was late and we were exhausted so we stayed. The floors were so filthy and greasy as were the counter tops. The toilet didn’t refill after flushing. The Smoke Alarm had been removed and the wires were hanging from the ceiling. A horrible odor came from the a/c unit. I could go on and on. The staff were just as harsh as the stay. This place should be condemned.

You can gage a property by the outside and hotel lobby. Cigarette butts everywhere. I asked to see the room first. The walls and doors had holes in them. The lobby needs new furniture today. Not a safe environment for a family. I immediately asked for a refund.

The floor in the room was not cleaned, there was something spilt everywhere. I am almost certain someone died in the room considering there was blood splatter on the curtain. There is water damage in the bathroom and no ventilation due to the exhaust fan not working. The moisture in the room has rusted anything metal leaving it rusting away as a display to the neglect of facility maintenance. The pillows were nasty and I woke up covered in bug bites. The pool is green and looks like a swap monsters dream. The whole hotel stay was disturbing from the loud music, constant door slamming and people speeding out of the parking lot like they were late to the local hot rod convention. 10/10 do not recommend this hotel unless you enjoy black mold, no sleep and potential hepatitis exposure.

Hotel seemed run down. The dead bolt on my door was completely non functional and could not be used. Lighting within the room was poor. Room was constantly humid regardless of using the AC or not. No do not disturb sign to place, and room was daily entered by, what i assume to be, hotel staff daily.
