Great Siesta Key Location at The Anchorage. Deeded Beach Access, Walk to Shopping & Dining!

Spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 3rd floor condo at The Anchorage with private deeded beach access to Crescent Beach. New tile floors, new leather furniture in the living room, new dining set, new SMART TV’s in living room & master bedroom. Split floorplan with bedrooms separated by main living area for extra privacy. Both bedrooms are large with walk-in closets. Master bedroom with ensuite bath has king bed, guest bedroom has 2 new full beds, plus sleeper sofa in living room. Well stocked kitchen with new refrigerator. Large balcony spanning the entire width of the condo is accessible from the living room and both bedrooms, and overlooks the beautiful private waterway with boat docks. Stroll along the waterway to the private beach access to the white sands of Crescent Beach. Laundry facilities are on the same floor just around the corner from the unit. Free WiFi and cable are provided. Secure building with 2 elevators and assigned parking.

You are sure to enjoy all the on-site amenities including a heated Olympic-size pool, lighted tennis and shuffleboard courts, exercise room, his and her saunas, bike racks, clubhouse, boat docks, and a lovely area on the Intracoastal Waterway where you can watch dolphin, fish, picnic & BBQ (grill provided). Great location with easy access on & off the island. Walk to restaurants, shopping, and night time entertainment. Hop on the free Siesta Key Breeze Trolley right in front of the resort and ride to the public beach pavilion (concession stand, restrooms), Siesta Key Village and Turtle Beach.

RENTAL POLICIES: Weekly rentals are Saturday to Saturday unless prior approval by management is obtained.. Monthly rentals are the first day of the month to the last day of the month during Jan, Feb, and March.

Wonderful beach getaway

Anchorage 308 was a comfortable, clean condo right across from the beautiful beach. Sunsets are beautiful! You do have to cross a busy road to access the beach, but with the crosswalks and traffic lights, it's pretty safe, and it's not a bad walk at all. Check in/out was an easy process, and the property managers were extremely helpful with a few minor issues we had. (They took care of a broken shower head within a couple of hours.) The location is great, and the trolly was convenient.... and fun. The grounds are beautiful. We played shuffleboard, corn hole and grilled out right by the water, and we watched people fish. The pool is huge with plenty of chairs, umbrellas and tables around. We spent many hours there just relaxing and having fun. We had a fantastic week!

Great Location

The location was perfect. It was a 3 minute walk from the condo to the beach. Beach access is right across the street from the condo. There are numerous crosswalks with signals in which drivers have to stop per Florida law. We did not have a rental car and we were able to walk to Captain Curts, the town market and shops etc.The village has downtown shops, restaurants etc. Just hop on the trolley or use Frog Hopper transport as the village is located a few miles down the road. Both methods offer free transportation throughout the island and the drivers accept tips. Look for the blue trolley sign outside the condo gate on the sidewalk. The condo building is older, built in 1975 however the unit is beautiful. The kitchen is fully stocked, the beds are comfortable and the patio is large as well. There are two bedrooms and two full baths which are a plus. The condo is large and comfortable.The laundry room is slightly down the hall and the office will provide you with quarters which you will need. The pool is very large and amazing. There is a very nice workout area that offers treadmills, stationary bikes, weights and two total body workout machines. There are two gate codes, one gate for access via a vehicle and one gate for walking. (Be sure to read your paperwork included at check in for information.) WiFi is included as well. There is a trash chute located at the end of the hallway for easy disposal during your stay. There is one of the better condos in Siesta Key.

First family vacation for the 6 of us

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The staff from Home and Condo Rentals (Holly and Vince) were exceptional- very helpful and quick to respond to us reaching out about two issues and they addressed both of them quickly and efficiently. The pool was absolutely amazing, our kids loved it and spent hours in it. It was clean and warm and the water didn’t burn their eyes which was a huge plus! A couple things we wished were different was having laundry in our room vs coin laundry and it would have been super helpful to have a wagon to carry our beach stuff in (esp since we flew and didn’t have the option to fly with a wagon). It was a little bit of an older place so the kitchen lighting and fan didn’t work well but that was easy to look over. Next time we would like to be directly on the beach so the walking with 4 young kids would be easier but we’d love to use Home and Condo Rentals again because of their friendliness.

Siesta Key Condo

The condo was as advertised. Clean, lots of room and comfortable. Great location for restaurants, some shopping, beaches, etc. Not a complaint but I would offer the owners these suggestions. #1. Update the bathrooms. Although fully functional, they are badly outdated. My wife said it reminded her of her bathroom when she was a teenager 45 years ago. #2. Replace carpets in the bedrooms. They are old, outdated and need replacing. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this to anyone who asks.

Great stay, convenient to everything!!

This condo is convenient to Captain Curts and the little village near Stickney Point Bridge and the free trolley. Wonderful, warm sun on balcony every morning to sit and your coffee. Both bedrooms are large with large walk in closets, everything you could need for the beach is included. Kitchen is well equipped. Will definitely stay again!

Great condo! We enjoyed our stay and loved being just across the street from the beach.

The condo was perfectly located. Near the beach with just a short walk
 also near great restaurants in Captain Curts and Daiquiri Deck. We enjoyed the tennis courts and huge pool as well.

Vacation in siesta keys

Great condo near the beach. Perfect for our family of four. Condo was clean and easy access to the beach. Traffic is loud on the balcony as it is facing the bridge. Pool and tennis courts are nice. Free trolley is a nice option if you don’t want to drive to the village for dinner. Overall well worth the rental price for this beach area.

Sun at Siesta

Very happy with the condo at Anchorage #308 in Siesta Keys. The pictures are exact. The kitchen is small but we took turns so it worked. Large living are and bedrooms. Could use new pillows but other than that it was great.. The only problem is the highway noise. With the doors closed it's fine but a little loud when they are open. There are plenty of free shuttles going which is very nice to have. Good restaurants and beautiful sand. I would rent again but maybe on the other side for less noise.

Plus side: Condo was great, rental agency was great. Down side: Canal renovation project was directly below our balcony. Thursday n Friday bearable, weekend no work, Monday came the jack hammers!!! Intolerable! Plus side: We contacted the rental agent Holly. Luckily they had another condo available. No up charge, no hassle, they were as happy as we were they could accommodate a move. PS. Original rental would have been fine minus the construction which was out of their control.

Well Situated Lower Siesta Key Property

Well positioned with good amenities. The apartment could do with the kitchen and bathrooms upgrading as they are a little dated. The management company reacted well to our requests and the arrangements for key pick up etc were very good. Unfortunately during our stay, the canal seawall was being upgraded and was creating a very noisy environment both in the apartment and pool area. Hopefully this will be complete soon for future renters. Beach is 5 mins away and can be accessed across the road road from the apartments-it is signed (but very small). There is a free trolley bus that stops close to the apartments which goes to Siesta Key village around every 30 minutes. There are also a number of restaurants and bars nearby within walking distance. Pool area is nice and not too busy generally and there are 3 good tennis courts on site. Shopping and supermarkets are a short drive away. Premium outlets 30 mins.

Road Noise. Nice pool. Needs updating in bathrooms.

Toilets very low for seniors and old shower enclosures nasty in corners. No garbage disposal. New fridge and dishwasher and good beds. Nice pool. Good location but very noisy from busy road all day into late at night. Victor and Holly responsive to our needs. Needed a plumber to replace our leaking wax ring in master bath and an electrician to balance our bedroom ceiling fan. Took 18 days to get the fan fixed. No TV in second Bedroom. Fairly clean except for nasty corners of shower enclosures which is why most owners have replaced these in rental units. Needed steak knives and more glassware but had silverware and cooking equipment. Lovely pool and sauna. Hot tub would really improve the facility. Office staff friendly and had a great parking spot. Small water heater....1 bath....or temperature controls are messed up. Good garbage service and convenient recycling. Nice furniture. Tack strip in master bbrm entrance comes thru carpet along tile...OUCHIE. Hopefully that will be fixed asap. Reported it. Love Siesta Key. Would not stay in this unit again but would use Home and Condo Rentals again.
