I stayed here with my daughter after a 13.5 hr flight from London, and before our next 9 hour flight home to New Zealand. We had booked the room for 6 hours and as we arrived early, we were offered the opportunity to check in straight away which was very welcome. We asked to book an extra hour and paid $25 Singapore dollars for this. They gave us 20 minutes too on top of this for no extra fee due to the time we checked in. We also received vouchers for 2 free meals at the Ambassador lounge.
The receptionists were really friendly, the lobby spacious and modern. We found our room easily, it was well air-conditioned and our twin beds comfy and clean. We appreciated the extras like toothbrushes and paste in the bathroom. There was no window, which we expected, but the large curtain on the wall and mirror provided made the room feel cosy and spacious. The coffee and tea making facilities with 'creamery' packets, coffee, tea and sugar sachets meant we didn't need to find milk to make a hot coffee or cup of tea.. The shower and bathroom were immaculate. We were able to get some much needed sleep and rest as the hotel was very, very quiet from the morning to mid afternoon.
We were offered and accepted a wake up phone call, very handy!
The hotel is adjacent to the free movie theatre & wonderful Butterfly Garden. We visited the garden. much easier without all our carry-on luggage left behind in our room.
It's not cheap to stay here but well worth it for the comfort and privacy.
