Clean room, breakfast was delicious, rooms were spacious, loved the check-in process, but we did end up at the FAMILY Cube not knowing it wasn't the Cube we booked (which ended up being just down the street), so be careful when navigating. I didn't think the hanging visable signage outside was helpful enough to know the difference. This delayed our check-in by 30 minutes after I was finally able to get someone to answer the phone, because there wasn't anyone at the check-in desk. I had to google the phone number that connected me to someone (took me 15 minutes to find), I recommend posting a phone number at the desk. In addition, there was a bathroom where the sliding door didn't close, and then another bathroom where the shower head had been broken off, but it was the only one available so it felt like taking a shower with a water hose. That bathroom hadn't been cleaned in the PM per the cleaning log posted on the door, from what I could tell it needed a clean and a refresh on the soap and toilet paper. The room itself, loved the layout, we stayed on the top (highly recommend) but bring ear plugs because the door to the room areas is really loud upon being closed (which happens all throughout the night). Bring room spray too because there was a smell of bad breadth everywhere. I wouldn't stay again solely on the bad breadth smell, it kept waking me up sadly.

Nice little hostel I had to booking last min due to the pervious place i booked having cancelled on me. Great location, nearby transit and shopping. Only thing is that the cleaning coule be better.

Horrible AC Situation

This was a really cute little hostel with a lot of good things going for them, but none of the good is enough for me to go back. The air conditioning situation is abhorrent. My sister and I were in the all female dorm, which is air conditioned, but inside the cubes is NOT. And once you close the privacy screen, your cube turns into a hotbox. The one place where you actually spend time and need to sleep has zero air flow. It was horribly uncomfortable and if I were staying in Singapore longer, I would have left. Similarly, the bathrooms are not air conditioned. There’s nothing worse than getting out of the shower and immediately sweating in a hot room. Like I said, the hostel is nice, has free breakfast, is in a great location, and had super friendly staff…but I’d never go back.

Just get a hotel room

The woman at check in was shockingly rude acting as if even assisting us by answering any questions was a massive inconvenience for her. If the front-desk staff can't manage basic politeness, that sets the tone for everything else. We lugged our suit case up two flights uo just to endure a completely disorganized checkin. Then another flight to reach a room with stained walls, stained sheets, and a bathroom that hadn't been serviced. The unforgiveable combination of disgusting facilities and unpleasant staff ruins any chance of redeeming the stay.

The area is close to the train station. The staffs are very helpful.Its a budget friendly hotel and its good for a solo traveller like me. Shower rooms are shared and some sink and doors needs fixing. I hope they can take a look on that. Overall, its a good place to stay.

Overall, we had a pretty good stay. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was nice. However, the room was way too hot. I don’t think the AC was strong enough and there was no way to regulate it. It was too hot during the night.
