It would be nice if the front counter receptionists are more welcoming, pleasant, polite, and friendly. I am a tourist from a friendly country, and seeing a face at the reception with a blank, unhappy face makes me feel unwelcome. This is something Singapore needs to improve. It looks as if they are not happy working there. Also, charging an additional fee for early check-in is something I have never come across anywhere else in my years of travel. This is something the management to look into to change this policy.

Rooms are clean but extremely small. Our room was absolutely freezing and AC could not be adjusted. Shower was lukewarm. A plus: Nice location right by the river!

Great location and walking distance from boat/clark quay. For a short stay, this offers good value for money, though would be tough for more than a few nights. Room/bathroom v small. Mattess incredibly firm, like harder than a couch.
