Staff were very friendly. It’s a great pub, busy with pleasant customers, the beer is good (but all Timothy Taylor’s…in case you don’t like theirs..) We went out into the town and came back and ate our evening meal in the pub. There’s a fair bit to do in skipton - we were just there overnight. If you like a local pub, the accommodation and staff, and whole set up is just perfect. The rooms are pretty small, but fine if you’re just sleeping and showering…. Highly recommended if you’re a traveler that likes to stay in pubs…

The gent from the bar explained all the parking facilities and provided us with a token for the barrier for the car park at rear of the pub. He also provided fresh chilled milk for our room.
