Our stay at The Waterfront Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived to the day we left, everything exceeded our expectations. We spent five nights there, and the staff truly made the experience unforgettable warm, attentive, and consistently going above and beyond. The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore the best of Malta. One standout moment was being offered early breakfast before our morning flight a thoughtful gesture that speaks volumes about their hospitality. I’ve already shared my glowing recommendation on the Malta Facebook page, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. If only more hotels held themselves to these impeccable standards!

From when we arrived until we left the hole experience was just great, all the staff we so friendly and helpful, the food was also amazing, we were on the 11th floor overlooking the harbour and onto Valletta

The Waterfront is situated about halfway along the Sliema bay overlooking Valletta and the Manoel Island. Generally, the hotel is clean and well kept. It’s very convenient for the ferry to Valletta, excursions and local bars. Don’t be fooled by the photos of the pools. The hotel doesn’t have its own pool. Instead they have free entry to a shared ‘pool club’ over the road. This is shared with at least two other hotels and they sell entrance to third parties too. What this leads to is an incredibly cramped and busy pool area with loud dance music blaring all day - not great at all if you fancy a quiet relax looking over the harbour. The indoor pool is very small. The view from the rooftop bar is great, but expect not to be able to use it on several days - they let it out for functions regularly (we had that twice in a four night stay). They’re trying with their ‘green’ credentials - refillable water bottles, messaging etc, but then give you toiletries in lots of little plastic bottles. A bit of an oversight.

Our stay at the Waterfront was absolutely fantastic and gave us a real VIP feel. The staff were so warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful – we were greeted with a lovely welcome drink and helpful information when we arrived. Our room was huge with a stunning sea view, and the spa and indoor facilities were excellent – the pool was a good size and never too busy, and the jacuzzi was perfect for relaxing. I loved the cold, scented towels from the fridge – such a nice touch – and the cosy slippers and robe made it feel extra special. The location couldn’t be better – right near the ferry, which made it so easy to pop over to Gozo or take a boat trip. The other guests were also very lovely; we always exchanged smiles and greetings, which added to the friendly atmosphere. Housekeeping was spot on. We never saw the cleaner, but every day our room was left spotless, with little treats like nuts, biscuits, and fresh bottled water. The kids were so happy with their own toiletry box left just for them. Breakfast was really good, with plenty of vegetarian choices for us. I loved the fresh smoothies and the granola in those cute little glasses. A special thanks to Mashud, who greeted us warmly every single morning and made sure we and the children were looked after. We slept well every night, felt so cared for, and can’t wait to come back again soon.

I loved the outdoor pool but I did not swim because there was too many people and I did not think it’s clear water 💦 lol all the stuffs were nice and for the private beach, they provided us bottle of water, chips, oranges, beach towels and beach sheet that was really thoughtful
