Adequate but not as nice as the pictures

This property was adequate however run down. The building is in a congested estate. The carpets and couch are dirty which really impacts the comfort of staying in the space. The shower head in the main bathroom broke on first use. There was a hole in the wall by the towel holder. No dishwasher or dryer. The listing states that there is a view of the canal. The view was of the other buildings in the estate and the parking lot. In the hallway of the building you had a view of the train tracks. We were worried that we would hear the trains but once inside the apartment we didn't really hear them. Some basic changes would make this property so much better: shelves in the storage cupboard, fixing the walls in the bathroom, better quality towel rack, curtain or glass for shower, removal of carpets, decent cutlery, washer/dryer combo unit. I say these things as advice. The unit could quickly be returned to the state of the listing photos with a bit of investment.
