This condo is ideally situated at the base of Snowmass Mountain, right next to the Base Village and steps to the property hot tub area. With hiking and biking trails right out the back door, you can spend your days in the fresh air. Relax in the cozy cabin feel of this studio in front of the wood burning fireplace while enjoying the great view. It is the ultimate in mountain accommodations and a great Snowmass value any time of year!

A wide open ski trail leads right to the back door of the condo! This access makes our condo a great option for every level skier or non-skier. **Ski access across may be limited due to snow conditions in early and late ski season.

With 2 queen beds and a pull-out sofa bed in the living room, there is plenty of room for a group of friends or a small family to stay. The beds and living room are separated by an accordion door. The full kitchen and breakfast bar are perfect for enjoying meals together at home after a day on the mountain. If you prefer to dine out, many great restaurants are located in the Base Village for you to chose from during your stay. The outdoor pool and hot tub are available in the summer and winter months and are just outside your patio. Your patio offers a great spot to relax while grilling some burgers for dinner or with a cup of coffee enjoying the morning sunshine. The Lichenhearth is a gem of a property in Snowmass. The location, amenities, free covered parking, full kitchen and wood burning fireplace make it an ideal choice when coming to vacation in Snowmass.

Complimentary assigned covered parking for one car. Vehicle must be under 6' 8" in height. Additional cars must register with the parking department and purchase a parking pass, $15/day, for the nearby lots in the winter season. Additional parking is free in the summer.

***Most mountain residences, including this property, do not have air conditioning. Fans are provided for your comfort***
Portable AC units for the bedrooms are available for rent. Limited quantity available - please check for availability before confirming your stay if AC is needed.

We just finished a wonderful stay at Lichenhearth 26 in Snowmass and couldn’t be happier with our choice. While the complex itself is a bit older, don't let that deter you—the unit was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and offered plenty of space for our group of four.The LocationThe convenience factor here is a 10/10.‱ True Ski-in/Ski-out: You can literally ski right up to the back patio.‱ Proximity: It’s a mere one-minute walk to the Base Village lifts and the Sky Cab (Skittles) to the Village Mall.‱ Essentials: A quick 10-minute walk gets you to the market for supplies.The ExperienceThe communication leading up to our visit was excellent. We did have a minor hiccup where our entry code didn't work upon arrival, but it was addressed immediately by both the staff and the owners, which we really appreciated.A quick tip for future guests: The unit holds heat very well! We were warned it can run a bit hot with the heat on, so we kept it off for the duration of our stay and were perfectly comfortable.Value ComparisonWe stayed at the Viceroy last year, and while that was a lovely 5-star hotel experience, we actually preferred Lichenhearth. You trade the bar, restaurant, and ski valet for more living space and better mountain access. For the significant cost savings and the added convenience, it is well worth the trade-off.We would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect Spot

My husband and our 2 friends stayed at the Lichenhearth for a short week and it was great! Perfect location in walking distance to base village and the slopes. As close to ski and and ski out as you can get for an affordable price. Property was very clean and comfortable for 4 guests. We will definitely stay again! iTrip managed our rental and they were great! Very communicative in pre-arrival and during our stay.

Great Location

The property is next to the Skittles gondola and restaurants. It was clean and had extra pillows and linens, a full supply of bath products, and plenty of starter stuff in the kitchen. There wasn't anything it was missing! It is a bit dated but that's just asthetic. It is a very quiet property and I enjoyed my stay!

We absolutely loved this condo and hope to stay here again. The property management company is awesome
super helpful and available every time I had a question. The condo was immaculate when we arrived. The location cannot be beat. I especially loved all of the storage space which was perfect for our family of 4. The kitchen is well stocked. I also loved how there is zero clutter in this condo. There is not junk stuck in places from previous quests or owners. The proximity to the hot tub was super fun! I would highly recommend!

Great location, super convenient and good value

We really enjoyed our stay at Leichenhearth. It is at the bottom of the mountain. Easy ski in and right next to Village Express, Skittles lift and kids ski school. The condo is on the ground floor so we just stored our skis on the patio every day. Loved having a dedicated parking spot and we were pleased with the amenities of the condo for the value. iTrip (the property management group) did an excellent job of communicating and providing support before and during the trip. We would definitely stay there again. One of the best condo locations in Snowmass.

Wonderful place for our ski vacation

We chose this place for our ski vacation and it was just perfect for that. The slopes were very close by and it was easy to ski in. Everything was available for an extended stay, full kitchen, ski storage with laundry available, a parking spot and a nice fireplace too. There were lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The property manager was always available and checked in with us to make sure everything was as we needed it to be. Booking, checking in and out was easy. We felt it was worth what we paid and couldn't have been happier with our stay. We would stay again.

We haven’t been this close to the lifts, EVER. This was truly the most convenient location on a mountain we have ever seen. We flew in, shuttled to the base village condo, and walked everywhere, including a short 30 second walk to the village express lift every morning to ski. Back patio pictures are true to scale.

T'he location of this place is terrific-right at the base of Snowmass Village, Easy to ski in and walk out. Perfect for our family ski get away. Great value compared to other condos in the area. It was nice having a wood burning fireplace and a gas grill right outside the sliding glass doors.

So I booked this place as our workation base, we needed fast internet as we are software engineers but at the same time we needed a perfect setting that can give us the snowy colorado travel vibes and i feel i made the best decision! From hot pool to barebque to fireplace you have all in the package. Checkin was smooth and the people/manager whoever I called helped me with my every question and they were sweet!

Overall the stay was amazing, great location, property was clean and cozy. The only negative is if you don’t rent a car, which I didn’t, and staying here you don’t really need a car with shuttles going around the clock, hauling your own luggage to the condo if you arrive before the checkin time. Adjusting to the altitude and dragging the suitcases and a ski bag was very challenging. Wish there was a service to deliver the bags to the condo.

The location could not be better. We walked out our door to the pool, the gondola, lifts and shuttle. Very beautiful view of the mountain. Some noise from construction and landscaping. We enjoyed the fireplace each night with plenty of wood provided by our host. The laundary was also and plus. I would definitely return!
