THE PROPERTY:

Welcome to Silver Creek unit 2217, a gorgeous, renovated property with courtyard views! Everything in this unit is brand new, and is the absolute perfect retreat to come back to after enjoying everything Snowshoe has to offer!

This elegant studio is on the second floor, sleeps six people, and is in Silver Creek Lodge, home of the legendary night skiing, 3 of the best terrain parks, and the Coca-Cola Tube Park. When you stay in Silver Creek, you’ll enjoy shorter lift lines, later mid-week rope drops, and a complimentary shuttle to and from the main mountain!

Silver Creek 2217 features an updated kitchen with modern countertops and updated kitchen cabinets and is fully stocked with all the basics you'll need to prepare, cook, and serve a delicious meal. Within the cozy space, you’ll find plateware, utensils, pots and pans, coffee maker, range, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and toaster. There is a kitchen island, with seating for four people, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee, a glass of wine, or a delicious meal.

Or, if you’re tired of preparing your own meals, consider a short stroll to the various dining options right in the building: 1) the Locker Room, where you can eat, drink, watch sports, play games, and enjoy live music during certain nights and 2) the Bear’s Den, featuring lunch and dinner options that include wood-fired oven pizzas, burgers, and more. Please note the Bear’s Den is only open during the ski season and the Locker Room has limited open hours during the summer season.

The comfortable queen bed has ample storage underneath. You can also enjoy the full IKEA sectional sofa and the twin-over-twin bunk beds for additional sleeping capacity.

Your housekeeping package includes clean linens (flat sheets and pillowcases) plus an additional setup for the sleeper sofa, bathroom linens (towel and washcloths for each person the condo has the capacity to sleep), a bathmat, a dish towel, toilet paper, trash bags, bar soap, liquid dishwashing soap (for hand-washing dishes), and powdered dishwasher detergent (for the dishwashing machine). Neither paper towels nor coffee filters will be provided!!

THE RESORT:

At 4,848 feet, Snowshoe Mountain has the best skiing south of Vermont and east of Colorado, and is the perfect all-season destination in West Virginia’s Allegheny Mountains. You’re sure to find activities and adventures to keep all your family members happy.
● Winter – With an average yearly snowfall of 180 inches, the mountain offers 250 acres of skiable terrain, 61 slopes, 12 lifts, night skiing in Silver Creek, and five terrain parks for all skill levels. When you feel like taking a break from skiing or snowboarding, consider the many other activities available such as the Coca-Cola tubing park, Polaris RZR tours, snowmobile tours, and horse-drawn sleigh rides, to name a few.
● Summer – Enjoy the Snowshoe Bike Park with 40 downhill trails. Other activities include hiking, horseback riding, geocaching, clay shooting, golfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, relaxing on the sandy beach by Shavers Lake.

Clean bikes are allowed on the property.
The Bear's Den and the First Run Coffee Shop are open only during the winter.
No smoking is allowed in the unit.
Your reservation includes a parking pass so you can park for free at the Silver Creek Lodge.

PETS: Unfortunately, Silver Creek does not allow guests to bring pets of any type. As such, you will need to find alternative accommodations for your pets. However, if you have a certified Service Animal, let us know ahead of time so we can accommodate you. Service animals must be registered when you check-in at the front desk.

EARLY CHECK-IN: While we know you are excited to kick off your vacation, please note check-in begins at 5:00 PM. We may be able to accommodate an earlier check-in, if the room is ready.

LATE CHECK-OUT: Unfortunately, these are not possible. If you’d like a late checkout so you can enjoy all the mountain has to offer, we’re happy to book you for another night, if this or any of our other properties is available.

This Snowshoe studio is well-stocked with everything we needed. Enough beds, great, TV, a full frig, full kitchen with good countertop--not all common amenities in a studio setup.

Perfect for our needs

The unit was exactly as expected. It was ideal for our needs - we jumped right on the slopes - loved it.The building itself is dated but everything works as it should - the resort staff are amazing, you can tell they all love it there. We honestly loved the facilities - the pool was too chilly for me but my kids loved it, the hot tub and sauna were nice. All of the resort facilities were very clean. Check in was a breeze, the room was comfortable, cozy, had lots of blankets, I did get a little did chili at night but nothing some warm pajamas didn’t fix - all the mattresses were firm and comfortable - ideal to rest my aching body from all the skiing. The one thing that I absolutely loved was that this unit had a ton of hooks for which to hang your stuff which we needed because we had coats ski bibs, pool towels, and bath towels. The only things that were off was the units main door sticks a bit and you need to use some force to close and you have to take your trash to an outside dumpster as part of check out - I was hoping the cleaning fee would cover trash removal.I still am not sure where the units heat comes from as there wasn’t a thermostat in the unit.
