Village-1st Floor, Easy slope access and New gated back porch access

The decks are finally installed and open! Easy access to slopes, parking lot, and outdoor space. I have added gated access for this deck so Mtn Bikers you can store/lock your bikes on the back deck/porch. Enjoy your Snowshoe stay here! The perfect place for your vacation. First Floor means easy walk walk out the mountain, village, slopes, and bike trails as it is only a couple units down to the exit. Located in the Mtn. Lodge building wing closest to the Village. Split Rock Pool complex right across the street! My Guarantee...If the slopes close prior to or during your stay, I will refund or credit all of your rent and deposit.

Interior renovations are happening at Mountain Lodge. New common area, new carpet and hallway work, and other significant improvements through the interior of the building. Must see to believe the transformation.

Continually updated and Ready for you! Located on the 1st floor...means a better temperature control vs. higher floor condos. Remodeled Kitchen, Nice furnishings, 60" flatscreen TV, and all the convenience of a Mountain Lodge condo.

We are located on the first floor near the exit to the slopes and village in the wing closest to Allegheny Springs and Split Rock Pools. If you have small kids and want a short walk to the slopes, this is your condo! Split Rocks Pools is right across the street. Satellite TV and in room Wireless Internet access. Gated parking access right outside the building! Some of the best parking on the mountain. In Summer you can back right up to the back deck. Grassy area outside of deck can be used to tailgate, setup your own grill and hang out. And now with the gated-deck - you can expand your area outside! In Winter, you will enjoy the easy access of a 1st floor condo to the ski slopes.

Large open lobby with a stacked rock fire place is a great gathering place.
Available Indoor Bike lockers. Remember you cannot bring your bike into the room, but there are about 30+ bike (AND Ski Storage) lockers available to rent should you not want to lock your bike on your car bike rack. See the front desk for details upon arrival.

NO SMOKING in the condo
NO BIKES in the condo - Any bikes caught in the room will be deemed as in violation of your rental agreement and you will forfiet all deposit monies. The building has lots of security cameras for us to validate - please don't or you will loose your deposit - $300.
NO PETS in the condo. Due to severe allergies in my family, I cannot allow service animals in this condo. No reservations will be accepted for a party with a service animal.

Several village restaurants are available around the corner.

Mountain Lodge is a very family friendly complex. There is an indoor toddler play area, indoor ice skating, and quiet hours beginning at 10 PM. There are also a couple of fitness machines available on-site. (summarized below)

Met our needs

We enjoyed the unit itself even thought the building was under a major overhaul! There were 2 queen beds, and a fold out couch which met our needs as a family of 4. Super close to the village and fireworks! Thanks for a great stay! The only thing I didn’t pack and wished I had b/c there wasn’t one in the unit was a hair dryer. *note to self.

Great location and decent setup

The place is about what you'd expect from a state park cabin (in comparison). Thin mattresses, basic needs met, small kitchenette. It was clean and had the amenities we needed. We were able to cook a few meals, which was crucial. The location was great. Walking to just about everything. The Internet in Snowshoe is not good, plus there is spotty roaming cell networks. The room was no better. There was no streaming on the TV's. The place was built in 1981, so it has some dated features and wear and tear, but overall worked well. The price was right for skiing, so I got what I expected. Would probably do again assuming nicer places would be vastly more expensive.

Great Location

The Mountain Lodge is an old building that could use improvement in the building and management. I doubt that either of those will happen so you just have to accept some of it's downsides. The biggest being that it's loud. All the bedrooms share a wall with the interior hallways and you can clearly hear anyone speaking with a regular volume. The check in process can be slow when there are a lot of people waiting to get in. Thankfully, I wasn't with a tired family waiting to get in the room. I saw a lot of that and it didn't look fun. As far as the specific property that I rented, it was great. The condo was very functional for skiing with places to put gear and plenty of hooks. The location was ideal as it is on the end closest to the ballhooter lift. I would stay in this particular unit again.

Great place, great location

This condo was as-advertised and perfect for our family of 4. While not facing the slopes, the room is very close to an exit (maybe 4 doors down the hall) that opens right to the front of Allegany so if you need tickets, etc you have easy access. That end of the building is also closest to the Village so super quick access to the restaurants, etc. Loved this as we didn't end up feeling like we were walking through the inn forever when we left...exit was "boom" right there. Slopes are also off that same exit as well so hardly any walking at all to get going. Not much to say as everything went well and we had no complaints. Owner was great at communication and left terrific recommendations for the ski and food options.

Perfect condo for family trip

Clean, Comfortable Condo Steps from Slopes

Clean, well-appointed 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo in the Mountain Lodge at Snowshoe. 1st floor location was steps away from slopeside entrance directly adjacent to the Ballhooter lift. Truly ski in/ski out. Kids loved the pools at Split Rock, which is across the street. Excellent value for the location. Host provided a really nice guide to Snowshoe prior to our arrival. Highly recommend this property.

Great Ski Shack style small condo next to Ballhooter Lift

Perfect location for quick and convenient access to the slopes. Worked very well teaching my nieces given close proximity to the bunny slopes area and also to the Ballhooter lift.

Great location at Snowshoe

We had a great stay at this property. Easy access to the slopes and Snowshoe village - the location cannot be beat. The condo is in the perfect location in the building as well, no stairs required from parking lot or to slopes and really close to the exit doors to the slopes! Great communication with the host and would stay again. Mountain Lodge itself is showing its age, but the condo was clean, well appointed, and as described.
