Great Condo.3 night Minimum

One bedroom + den, one bath condominium unit in the gorgeous Powder Horn lodge - right in the middle of Solitude Village
Master bedroom has a king size bed and TV for relaxing after a fun day in the mountains.

Small den off from master bedroom has a bunk bed with a single up top and double down below - perfect for the kids. There is also a pull out sectional in the main living area for even more guests!

Living area has a gas burning fireplace as well as a desk with, get this, a new 46' HD TV and your own Xbox 360 to relax with.(Forza and SkyRim are included for you but you can bring you own too!) Multiple other board games, cards, activities are include for all age ranges.

Full kitchen with dining table that seats six.
Complimentary laundry facilities on site, just down the hall from the room for your convenience.

Free secure WIFi in the unit. The WIFi in the unit is hardwired to the main village ISP and password protected so you can be sure you are not using a public network. You can also plug in via hard cable if you wish.

The unit is ideally situated on the 2th floor, is a 2 minute walk to the ski lift, restaurants, pool, fitness center and rental shop (truly ski-in, ski-out). There is also a more private hot tub accessible from the 1st floor, only for Powder Horn guests. Enjoy!

The kitchen is fully-equipped with all utensils and cookware needed to create culinary feasts. If there is anything special you need just let us know and we'll see what we can do!

Condominium amenities include free wireless internet access throughout the village, private balcony, gas fireplace, as well as Direct cable TV, DVD and Blue Ray. The lodge itself has a wealth of amenities including a laundry room, free underground parking with elevator access, rolling luggage hops, ski and snowboard locker room with private combination lock, an outdoor hot tub, and full access to Club Solitude. Club Solitude features a heated pool, hot tubs, exercise room, movie media room, and a game room with a pool table.
There is also the Village Store in the same building as Club Solitude where you can get those necessary items that you may have forgotten.

The Solitude Mountain Resort in Big Cottonwood Canyon is a four-season vacation destination. The winter ski season runs from November to April and averages over 500 inches of snow. Solitude is typically the first ski resort to open in Utah, and features over 2000 foot vertical rise and eight ski lifts servicing 64 trails. In addition, Solitude is located just two miles from Brighton Ski Resort (a favorite of snowboarders). From May through October, you can enjoy hiking, mountain-biking, fishing, wildlife outings, and weekend get-away.

Solitude ski trip

Powderhorn lodge was well equipped with locker for skis parking garage and short walk to Apex lift. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodations perfect for our 5 person group. Would stay again for sure.

Great Solitude Stay!

We had a nice time here. Everything was as described. Detailed check-in info was very appreciated. The only thing I would add (maybe I missed this in the description) is to use your room key to get into the garage -- scan it at the "birdhouse" looking place about 25 feet before the garage entrance. Overall we had a great time and it's a great location for skiing Solitude and also Brighton.

Great property for a family getaway!

The communication from the owners was excellent! We appreciated the video to help us find the key, parking and condo. The unit was clean and very welcoming! The sleeping arrangements were perfect for our family of 4. It would be hard to have more people with only one bathroom but it worked fine for us. My kids are both over 6’ tall so the twin mattress was too small for them. But the sleeper sofa was quite comfortable. We appreciated all the spices. Oil, napkins, plastic wrap, etc. in the kitchen. We didn’t have to buy much to make a few meals in the condo. This is a very calm, and relaxing community. We had no lift lines on the Sunday we skid at Solitude. We got 15” of snow the day we skid Brighton so it was busy but manageable. Book your parking for Fri, Sat or Sunday at Brighton far in advance!! The proximity to Brighton and Cottonwood Heights was perfect. I highly recommend this property!

Amazing Condo!

We had an amazing stay at solitude! The condo was clean, comfortable, and so cozy! Check in and check out was super easy and the hosts keep such a clean and well stocked condo. The condo and village were both amazing. Everything you needed was within walking distance. A quick 5-10 minute drive if you wanted to ski Brighton. Loved the hot tubs and heated pool after a long ski day!

Wonderful little village next to the Apex lift at Solitude. We will return with the grand children next time. Club aSolitude is special with its big pool and two hot tubs, games and more. Condo is as descibed and works well for a family.

Outstanding Solitude unit!

If you’re reading this review you likely already know Solitude is an incredible place with amazing skiing. This rental unit is an outstanding option at the Solitude village located on the second floor of the Powderhorn lodge, which one of the 3 main lodges in the Village with easy access to the Apex and Sunrise lifts. The unit is located a few doors down from the free laundry facilities that are very helpful on a ski trip. The unit is very well appointed and shows even better than the pictures. The kitchen is stocked full of spices and cooking items and has good quality pots, pans, and knives. The den area has a bunk bed that is perfect for kids and has helpful drawers in the den area to contain kids stuff. The master bed is comfortable. Club Solitude is a huge attraction and available for use. It is located in Eagle Springs building next door and includes a pool, two jacuzzis, a pool table, a gym, and a kids game area with video games, air hockey, and foosball. Also of note is the free ski locker located on the main floor of Powderhorn lodge. Finally, the host was very communicative and pleasant to deal with. Our family would gladly stay here again and highly recommends this unit.

Snowy stay

The condo was a well stocked roomy space. It was close to skiing and access to hot tub. Parking underground was great given about 40 inches of snow fell during our visit.
