Truly Fabulous !
My husband and I were celebrating our 20th Anniversary and decided to stay at this location for our week stay in Souris. It surpassed all our expectations. The place is so quiet as it is located on a lake road off the main road, so there is little to no noise at all. The sound of the seagulls, wind in the trees and lapping waves were all that broke the silence. We took advantage of the wonderful fire pit among the treed area in the back of the house which was so serene. The place was very clean, the king bed was so very cozy and comfortable, and all the amenities that we required were provided. The patio was where we spent most of our time relaxing. If we had any inquiries, Heather was immediate in her response to provide us with the answers. I cannot express how truly beautiful and ideal this location is. The small town of Souris has great food and friendly people so it was always a delight to go out and talk with the local people. We would not hesitate to return to this location if we decide to visit PEI again.

Beautiful property!
Our very picky clean-freak family declared this to be the cleanest property we’ve ever rented. We loved all the windows/view, the openness of the main living area & kitchen and the calming decor. Everything that was needed was provided. We also loved the private location without it being remote. Very close to lovely beaches, shops, lobster take-away…Thank you Heather for sharing your perfectly lovely home…and also for the thoughtful welcome gift which we all enjoyed!…Heather T & family

River Retreat - it was a Treat !
We loved our cottage stay. Sitting on the large deck, sipping wine, seeing the sun set over the river, framed with tall pines - it was magical! The kitchen and living area were spacious and well kitted out with all the items one would need. Very clean and modern space. Same for the beach - the host had chairs, towels, an umbrella, and sand castle items for us to use. The cottage is only 15 minutes away from one of Canada’s best (fun!) beaches - Basin Head! We went every day and enjoyed the floating river and jumping in. Also nearby was the Confederation Trail - great for runnning, walking, or biking in the trees. I highly reccommend.

Wonderful cottage and great location
The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed the beach chairs at the local beaches ( nap tested). We loved Souris and the nearby beaches.

This rental was immaculate! Super clean! Exactly as described in the listing. We really didn't need to bring anything. Lots of towels(beach and bath), coffee, dishes, soap, you name it. Very comfy beds. Beautiful deck. Great wifi. Heather would reply within minutes of any questions. The oversized windows and patio doors were unreal. Very bright space. We are a family of 4. Stay here!

Cannot say enough how nice this property is. Absolutely spotless, easy to find, great views and very well equipped. Close to Souris for anything you may need. Brudenell and Dundarave golf about 30 km away. Multiple beaches in the area. Deck overlooking the river has all the seating and dining furniture you could need. Lots of great restaurants in the area. Highly recommend this property and will return if in the area again.

Ahhh...
Totally pampered. Our hosts thought of everything. Modern and clean, quiet and restful. Well stocked kitchen offering a fabulous view from the spacious deck. Even beach chairs and towels. Can't think of a thing that was missing, and if we did, Souris is just 2 minutes away. Ahhhh...
