This lovely cabin boasts many wonderful features for the perfect South Fork family vacation. With high ceilings, a well-equipped kitchen, and a gas grill, you will have everything you need for a memorable mountain getaway. The spacious, furnished deck provides a wonderful vantage point to view the Rio Grande River as you soak in your private, six-person hot tub. The fire pit is the ideal spot to stay warm while stargazing or roasting marshmallows.

The location of this cabin was ideal being right on the river and also provided privacy even though there were close neighbors. However, when we arrived the cabin was very clearly unclean. The floors hadn’t been mopped/swept, bathroom floors were covered in hair, both showers were covered in hair and other filth, and the sheets had not been washed and were covered in hair and other debris, etc. One of the main bedrooms downstairs had mice poop in the bedding the night we arrived. There were no extra sheets or blankets available in the cabin and all the beds had the same issue with having dirty sheets. Thankfully we had brought our own blankets from home so we covered the pillows with T-shirts and slept with our own blankets the first night. The second morning we found mouse poop in one of our suitcases and we saw one running across the cabin twice. We reached out over half a dozen times to report these issues and NOTHING was done. We decided to buy some mouse traps and sure enough, we caught 3 mice within 12 hours. Again we reached out to Vacasa and sent pictures of the filth and the mice and nothing was done to rectify this. When we arrived the remote to the tv in pieces, so there was no way to turn it on. Vacasa was notified about this as well, and nothing was done. We called, messaged, etc over our 6 day stay and the only response we ever got was “we will notify the local team”. No one has reached out to us to this point.

We drove to CO to enjoy fall foliage. Spent 4 days in your cabin on a river. Cabin was clean and comfortable, stocked with what we needed. We did have an issue with the hot tub - it wasn’t ready when we arrived. Contacted the company, they tried twice to fix the problem, without success, but discounted our visit to compensate

30th Anniversary Trip

Loved this place! Didn't realize it was part of a group of rental cabins, but we never felt like we were intruded upon or like we were in a subdivision. Property was even nicer than the pictures showed. Trout pond has no fish as of now. but might be stocked later. Caught no fish in the river, but I know they must be in there. Hot tub was always clean, and it is a BEAUTIFUL place!! We plan to come back!!

Nothing was done that I called in about till our finial day. Unacceptable!!! We will be looking for a new location. I even called in to see if a discount would be offered on that stay or our next NO RESPONSE. Before I even booked this cabin tried to reach out to the property manager NO RESPONSE. UNACCEPTABLE.

River Access is Great

This property was a great getaway from the city life. The hot tub next to the river was perfect in the evening. The check-in process was delayed even after trying to check in early. This cabin does not provide items such as coffee, spices, etc. The mattress and bedding are very dated and used. It was an overall Great location!

We travel to wolf creek every year with the kids and this was one of the best places we’ve stayed and will likely book again next time we visit! Location is great and the home had the perfect amount of space and amenities for us and our 3 kids. I would recommend it!

Just a few things

The lights in the back bathroom did not work. So showering and using the restroom was a challenge. The outlets in one of the king bedrooms also did not work, an inconvenience. The kitchen was stocked but very minimally. If you need something specific, bring it yourself. We enjoyed the house, but it was a very 'make it work' kind of stay.

The property was clean and had a lovely view but was very dated. We were greeted with a broken chair and lamps with dead bulbs on the patio and other lackluster design elements (like windows and doors facing other properties that didn’t have shades or curtains). It is helpful to note that, though there is a grocery store nearby, you’ll have to pick up or bring the basics like cooking spray, coffee, coffee filters, simple spices and aluminum foil.
