Right on the banks of the South Fork of the Rio Grande, this custom log cabin home is big, rustic, and perfect for your family's next vacation to South Fork! This home is tucked into an aspen grove and features an outdoor firepit, three bedrooms with king-size beds and en-suite baths, and a private loft area. Spread out in the living room to watch a good family-friendly movie on the mounted flatscreen TV or to read a favorite book to the kids. You'll love preparing delicious meals in the full kitchen, and the dining table has enough seating for up to eight guests. Take the chill off autumn months with the wood-burning fireplace and the private hot tub. You'll have great river views right from the deck, which your guests will love while they enjoy an al-fresco meal.

What's nearby:
You can enjoy trout fishing right behind the house anytime you like, so remember to bring along your poles! There are also plenty of trails for hiking, ATV, and snowmobiling nearby. The Diamond J Riverside cabin was perfect for our family ski vacay! The cabin has a great layout, was clean, and the location was perfect! King size beds. Individual bathrooms. A bunk bed room with it's own bathroom for the kids was wonderful. We will be back!

The hot tub worked great and being by the river was amazing. The home had a wonderful Colorado feel and the fireplace was definitely enjoyed by our party.We had a short 18 mile drive to Wolf Creek. No traffic getting there or coming back.

Great stay!

The house fit our needs perfectly! Plenty of room for the kids in the bunk room and private rooms for the adults. The kitchen had everything we needed. And relaxing in the hot tub at the end of a long day skiing was fantastic. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

Perfect Getaway!

This cabin has the perfect location and is surrounded by pine trees and views galore. The sound of the river at night is peaceful and relaxing. The kitchen and home have everything you would ever need on vacation! Check in and check out was so easy
 and the hummingbirds are fun to watch from the beautiful and large surrounding deck. We hated to leave but we’ll be back next year and stay here for sure!!

Family Vacation

Cabin was perfect for our family vacation in the mountains. Location is close to trails and fishing, kitchen is well stocked, and patio / fire pit area was perfect for gathering. Would stay here again.

Seclusion

We all enjoyed the seclusion of the property along a beautiful stretch of the South Fork. The Children enjoyed wading in the river and there is alot of hiking to be done. This is a wonderful property.

Perfect for our family vacation!

Enjoyed the location and ease of this property for our family vacation. I think we used every square inch! It was nice to have a private drive so the kids could play on the driveway and ride bikes. The porch and hot tub were perfect for relaxing and enjoying meals together. The surrounding scenery is so pretty and the hummingbirds were regular visitors! The kitchen was well equipped and open to the living room. This property is unique in that it has 4.5 bathrooms which is a great feature! The hosts were responsive when we had requests. Everyone had a great time. We would stay again.

Home away from home

Excellent accommodations for 12 people. Bunkroom shower needs a non-slip floor mat. Kitchen equipment is well stocked. 2 crockpots, blender, toaster, can opener, a large portable grill for flapjacks in the pantry, plenty of dishes and cooking pans. TV needs operation instruction. Great location and beautiful home away from home.

South Fork Rental Home

Four friends stayed in this log A-frame and enjoyed each of us having our own bedroom and bath. We used it as a home base for three days of skiing at Wolf Creek and recovering in the hot and clean hot tub on the deck. The only negative was that our mountain view was impeded by the Quality Inn along Highway 160.

Beautiful large log cabin home perfect for large family or groups. The living room has large windows ,spacious an open concept. Lots of parking and 2 car garage For extra storage. Bedrooms are very accommodating with separate bathrooms and large closets. Xtra large main floor bedroom. Beds very comfortable. Beautiful mountain decor throughout. Spacious and well supplied Kitchen and dining area seats 10. We loved our stay. Hosts provided all information and Hot tub was a big hit with kids and adults alike. Nice decks. The bunk room is amazing and provides a special space for all ages. Great outdoor spaces.
