The Hosts were wonderful to communicate with throughout the booking process and during our stay. Marlowe’s Haven is exactly as described and marketed: quaint, clean, cozy, has all of the amenities we expected. The beds are so comfortable! We fully enjoyed the hot tub and fire ring out back. Quiet neighborhood close to shops, restaurants and the lighthouse. We stayed for a long girls weekend in November. Don’t hesitate to book Marlowe’s Haven. We hope to go back next year!

4th getaway

Property as described. It was very clean and well stocked. The walk to town/lake was about 20 mins, so not bad at all. There were bikes available but we didn’t have an opportunity to ride into town. Erica and Alyssa were very responsive to messages. If traveling in the summer, the upstairs is quite warm but there were recommendations in the house manual to help.Overall would recommend the property and would stay again!

Perfect Family Winter Getaway

This house could not have been more suitable for our family, pictures are exactly what the house looks like inside and out. Super cute, super clean, all kinds of accommodations, towels, extra pillows, toilet paper, pods for dishwasher and wash machine. All the cute little touches are perfect, even upon arrival a smores kit, ready and waiting. Rooms sizes are good, beds comfy, kitchen table great size for family games and puzzles, just an all-around great home. We went in the winter and enjoyed it thoroughly, even used the hot tub as the snow was falling, it was beautiful. It is close to downtown South Haven/restaurants and close to stores if case you forgot anything. We also were close enough to go tubing at Timber Ridge and went on a sleigh ride at a ranch we found. The owners were WONDERFUL, they respond as soon as you reach out. Check in and check out was perfect. I would highly recommend this place, and we would definitely go back.

Lovely place in a lovely town!

A very nice and clean place. The bathrooms are VERY nice and the bed was super comfortable. It’s about 0.8 miles to downtown and my wife & loved walking down. It’s also 1 mile from Kal-Haven Trail which was fun. The host very accommodating and checked-in to see if we needed anything.Would definitely stay here again.

Idyllic Spot for a pre-trip to South Haven

This was the most seamless vrbo experience I have had. The house was sooooo cute, spotless and looked exactly like the pictures. The sunroom is clutch. My partner and I spent our mornings with coffee bathed in sunshine there and he adored sitting in that sweet rocking bench. The neighborhood is lovely and the neighbors are kind. I had a wonderful time watching the leaves turn and eating all the local snacks and this house was a huge part of it.

House was delightful and loved the fact they have bikes to use. 10 minutes to downtown area, we didn’t have to deal with parking and felt safe after a couple beverages at one of the watering holes ;). We would definitely stay here again.

What an adorable house! One of the best VRBO’s we’ve stayed at. Very clean, great amenities with the hot tub and backyard set up. House was well stocked with anything we needed. Love the retro mint green appliances! Nice location

South Haven getaway

Beautiful clean house about a mile from beach. Can bike or even walk into town (maybe 20 minute walk). House was plenty big for 3 adults and 3 kids. Fun backyard with fire pit and hot tub. The house has all of the amenities needed it even has beach chairs and towels. We would definitely stay here again.

Great house! Very clean and cute beach decorations. Very well stocked, the hosts even left s’mores supplies for us. Backyard was a great place to hang out with a bonfire. A little farther from downtown/beach than we had expected, about 20 min walk to downtown and 40 min walk to beach. Otherwise would completely recommend!

Girls Weekend

We had a fantastic girls weekend getaway at Marlowe’s Haven. The house was adorable (and exactly as pictured)! It was cozy and had all of the kitchen amenities we needed to eat our meals at “home” and so many extra added touches (including cookie sheets to bake cookies). We would definitely recommend this house and hope to stay here again!

Beautiful home rental!

We had a group of 6 women stay at this rental for a long weekend in South Haven. The house fit us very comfortably. It is beautifully decorated and appointed with every necessity. The entire house was clean on arrival. The hot tub was clean and hot and ready to use when we arrived. Downtown is a quick drive or a 10 minute walk. We had a great time and can’t wait to return!!
