First, I have a high level Hilton membership. I understand how that sounds, but I made that statement to highlight the lack of customer service I felt at this hotel since check-in. The room was good. They did not acknowledge or provide the complimentary items. Second, I was misquoted the fees that would be paid upon checkin. I normally complete reviews because customer service across all industries less the very high end hotels and businesses. I was ok that I was forced to valet, but to find my car was not being parked on the hotel premises and that on my last day they brought my car with a screw in the driver side rear tire. Upon asking for assistance the valet smirked and said you probably will not be able to get it fixed. Instead of assisting me, he just told me that I would not get it fixed in Tahoe. That was not an option, so I had to search all over South Lake. My two children each had soccer games that I needed to get them too. Furthermore, I had the tent and bench for my sonâs team. After driving to several shops that showed they were open, but were actually closed. I am not sure how long it took me to find a place to get my car fixed. I can say it was not a tire shop but I found a place. As I said, customer service is very important to me. The place I found was oil change shop that does not handle tires, but two young men at the shop were able to assist me. The hotel did nothing to assist me, even though they brought me my car with the screw in it.
