Take a stroll along the shores of Lake Baron, just a few blocks from this conveniently located 3BR/2BA home in South Lake Tahoe. Golfers will love being blocks from Tahoe Paradise Golf Course, while outdoor adventurers will find biking and hiking trails nearby.

The shimmering waters of Lake Tahoe at Camp Richardson are only seven miles away. Rent a paddleboard, kayak, or jet ski and spend an afternoon on the waves. Nevada Casinos are less than 10 miles from home.

Kick back on a sectional or rocking chair in the main living room and watch a movie on the 50-inch TV. The second living area has the feel of a game room, but it's especially suited for evening entertainment. Along with a fully functioning bar and seating area, this group-friendly space has a wine fridge, microwave, and 50-inch TV.

Prepare meals in the modern kitchen, fully stocked with all the gadgets you might need. When dinner is ready, gather at the dining table that seats four. Sleep soundly in a primary bedroom with a queen bed and a 36-inch TV. An en-suite bathroom features a tub/shower combination with white tiled walls.

The second bedroom boasts a queen bed with sliding door access to the backyard, while the third bedroom has a twin-over-full bunk bed and a full-size bed - perfect for the kids!

Lake Tahoe Golf Course and Tahoe Paradise Golf Course are minutes away. Lake Baron, Fallen Leaf Lake and Lake Tahoe are all under 10 minutes away for a day of boating, fishing, or paddle boarding. The area is surrounded by mountains and trails for hikers and bikers, including Washoe Meadows State Park -- minutes down the road.

The secluded backyard offers ample outdoor seating to spread out and relax. Grill out on the spacious backyard deck. Outdoor wood-burning fires and charcoal grills are prohibited per local ordinances.

Tahoe is home to many animals. You may experience bears, raccoons, mice, and other animals. Meadows are home to many rodents. When these areas are filled with water or snow, these animals move to homes in the area. You may experience these animals in or near your home.
This property is not equipped with air-conditioning.

Overall the house worked out great for our family trip to Tahoe. It had amenities that we needed, a great backyard where the kids played in the snow and enough space for everyone. Couch in the front room was slightly warn and the bathrooms a little dated but not a deal breaker. House instructions were all sent ahead of time which made check in and out easy. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and made some great memories!

Great location for a nice older home. Everything was in good condition, and very clean. Well stocked home with a huge backyard. Price was fantastic for the stay which made the original counter tops understandable that they've not been upgraded yet. So for a place on the budget end of the spectrum, it was a excellent choice.

The house was fine, nothing amazing, it was adequate for what we needed. We were blocked from part of the house without knowing until we got to the house. The house does have a bit of an animal/musty smell and we had to sanitize the rooms with Lysol to help remove odors and leave the door open when returning in the evenings. We did spend minimal time at the house throughout the stay.

Misleading Listing of Dilapidated Property

The listing for this property was falsified and the local property management refuses to provide us with compensation for the property's deficiencies. Among the reasons we chose it for our stay was its dog friendliness, large fenced-in backyard and garage. When we arrived, we quickly discovered that the property did not have a garage, but only had a 2-car driveway. Just an outright lie in the listing. This did not provide us the flexibility we were relying on for our vehicles and handling of our 4 month-old puppy. When we let our dog out in the backyard, we discovered that the chain-link fence on the left side of the property had multiple sections that were broken and falling over. This later allowed a random dog from the neighboring property to wander through our property, potentially endangering our dog. The property manager sent out maintenance to address the issue while we were away, but they put a single bungie cord on a different part of the fence that didn't need it. We were able to manufacture a stop-gap solution as the property manager failed to address it. The full bed in the 3rd bedroom had multiple broken slats on the underside of the frame and was unusable. The WiFi credentials provided in the check-in instructions did not work. The backyard patio furniture and fire pit shown in the pictures of the listing were locked up in a shed in the backyard of the property and were not available for use during the entirety of our stay. The water heater was not consistently working upon arrival and needed attention from maintenance. General cleanliness of the house was poor, including the state of the couches and floor underneath them. Overall, we were incredibly disappointed with our stay. The property is dilapidated and management is largely unresponsive and unwilling to provide adequate care for paying customers.
