vacation here. While enjoying your time, we would like to remind you of some
important community expectations and rules for guests staying in our
neighborhoods outside of the Tourist Core. We believe that you, your family, and
friends can have an amazing vacation while still being respectful and
considerate to the neighbors around you.

City of South Lake Tahoe Short Term Rental Ordinances

a. The maximum occupancy of this property at all times, 24 hours a day,
is 4 persons. Up to 2 children aged 13 and under do not count
towards this occupancy limit.
b. Weddings, receptions, and commercial events are prohibited.
c. No use of outdoor spas or hot tubs is allowed after 10pm or before
8am.
d. No outdoor amplified music, speakers, or other noise-generating
equipment is allowed after 10pm or before 8am.
e. Parking is prohibited on unpaved surfaces or on neighboring private
property without permission. Parking is allowed only on paved
Surfaces. Only 2 vehicles allowed.
f. Parking of commercial vehicles on the property is prohibited, except
temporarily for durations of less than 4 hours.
g. Camping and sleeping in tents, travel trailers, campers, or
recreational vehicles is prohibited at the property.
h. Trash and recycling shall not be left or stored outside except in a
container (trash can) within a bear box or in an animal-resistant cart
provided for use by South Tahoe Refuse.

i. Trash Dumpster on site

Violations of any of these conditions of operation are subject to
citations and fines starting at $1,500 per violation may be issued to both occupant
and to the property owner.


Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Old and worn. Needs updates and many small repairs.

I wanted to love this place. But the following things made it irritating and way over priced. I contacted Vacasa asking about an adjustment to my fees due to these issues and received no reply. Even a future. credit would have been okay. First the broken things : 1) lock on slider in downstairs bedroom broken off. 2) downstairs shower has NO water pressure and leaks continually. 3) toilet runs and runs and you have to keep jiggling the handle to get it to stop. Maintenance did come out d look at it right away. Nothing changed- just needs a replacement of flushing mechanism. 4) light switch I. Master bedroom downstairs cracked off. Just a little nub sticks out of the light switch cover to turn on and off . 5) door stop in upstairs bathroom bent and inoperable. Door hits wall every time you open. 6) refrigerator seal is not secure - you must double push and shove to get door to stay closed. - need adjusted or replaced. 7) electrical socket in downstairs master bedroom does not charge any devices. Now for the old and worn - 1) bed skirt is ripped about 14” on master bedroom bed 2) pillows are old hard and horribly uncomfortable. I’m not looking for expensive down. Just maybe a choice or a newer fluffy one ? 3) carpet in living room and both bedrooms and on stairs is just disgustingly stained and dirty. 4) there are about 7 forks and 4 knives and 6 spoons. Had to keep washing even for the two of us! 5) towels are stained with brown spots on many. 6) blankets for bed Very smelly. Washer from small to wash them or I would have ! 7) not one cookie sheets to bake on ( wanted to bake cookies ) I have pictures I can upload for proof of all items. Overall very disappointing and not worth the price. Renter August 2021

So, the location of this property is perfect; a short walk to the aerial tram. The downsides: it is run down, with a really bad design: one bathroom downstairs with 2 run-down bedrooms, and a full bath shower upstairs. Only two teaspoons in the drawer. Property manager did NOT return texts or emails.

Good option to stay in for a couple of nights

A little bit narrow for a family but pretty nice cabin to stay in for a few nights. Located in a quiet place among the woods. The office to check in is located in 15 min of drive from the property. In overall, the cabin has all we needed for a comfortable and safe stay.

Community hot tub

Other people were in hot tub passed midnight very noisy!. Rules state hot tub closed at 10pm. Called property management, they stated nothing they could do because it maybe owners. So renters must be peaceful and quiet but owners can do as they please. Next year I'll stay eleswhere

This place was nicely decorated and very cozy. It is smaller than we thought, but it had everything you need and was perfect for four people. It was nice and clean. All in all, a good value for the money.
