Enjoy this spacious and elegant Beach view Home, offering super easy beach access and amazing views of the Gulf. 4300sq ft of living space, with 6 bedrooms - each with en-suite Private Bath (3 are Master Bedrooms), Pool Table and an Elevator for those with mobility needs. Our home will easily accommodate large groups in spacious comfort for every person in your group. Our rates are set for 18 Guests Standard (Up to 20 guests with host approval).
Oceanview is purpose built to serve large groups, business professionals, and multiple families vacationing together. At about 2x the size of a typical island beach house, everyone in your group is guaranteed to have ample space to move around, relax and enjoy.
Soak up coastal breezes and listen to the ocean from the privacy of several balconies.
You’ll note the fine touches throughout the home - including custom cabinetry, marble countertops, stainless steel appliances, private elevator, travertine flooring, and a water softener that serves the entire property.
The grand front porch stairway of Oceanview Castle spills out to speedy beach access just across the street. Alternately, the elevator can be taken to ground level.

Immediate Beach Access - 60 seconds from the front steps to the beach! Oceanview Castle is just a quick hop across the street from the beach. Set up your gear for a whole day on the beach. Need to make a pit stop back home for a bit of shaded rest, or a bathroom break? No problem, you’ll back in a flash and wont even have to break down your beach setup!
A Private Bath for every one of the 6 Bedrooms: Worthy of note - each and every bedroom has it's own full bath - a highly unique feature among large home rentals here on the Island. Oceanview may well be the only large family rental with a dedicated bath for each bedroom. Everyone can enjoy their own private suite. Some have called our home a mini-luxury hotel.
Kids/Teens semi-private Retreat – Families and Friends love to come together and share time together on vacation – and they also appreciate their personal quiet space. Oceanview Castle serves up tons of space and privacy. The Castle’s first floor quarters make for an amazing teen zone. The teens of your group will have their own private space for some personal evening unwind time in a 900 sqft 2 br/2 bath semi-private quarters located on the first floor of the house. Complete with its own fully stocked kitchen and living room with Smart TV. It even has its own private outside access door with keyless entry.
AWESOME DETAILS:
Game Room with Billiard Table: A game of Pool…..or perhaps there is a Big Game on this evening. The Castle provides a room to enjoy both! Mini fridge and dry bar on site.
Bathrooms abound! – every single bedroom has its very own Full Bath. 5 of the 6 bedroom baths are appointed with Granite or Marble showers, floors and countertops! Luxurious private space! Plus, another Half Bath can be found next to the RecRoom, as well as one Outside for rinsing sand and salt after a day at the beach.
Parking- and plenty of it: A 2 car garage, Plus Private Drive parking for up to 4 vehicles (tandem) in driveway

MAIN FLOOR (2nd floor): Huge open and bright living area with 9ft ceilings, Large family area with TV and comfortable leather sectional seats up to 8. Travel down the expansive hallway to the Recreation Room with Entertainment Center, Cable TV & Pool Table with Dry Bar.
>>Bedroom: This floor has 1 Bedroom, with 1 queen and 1 double bed, + private ensuite bath, right off the Game Room – perfect for a family or the young adults of your group.
3rd FLOOR - Climb the wide open, sweeping travertine staircase (or take the Elevator) to the third floor for access to the 3 Master Bedrooms:
>>MasterSuite 1 - King: Boasts its own private balcony with a splendid view of the Gulf – wake up, open the door and hear the Ocean sing to you. Large Closet with additional fold-out twin option if needed. Large ensuite batch with Jacuzzi tub.
>>Master 2 -King: 1 King bed with ensuite bath.
>>Master 3- Queen: 1 queen bed with ensuite bath, plus a mini-bunk (twin) room (for younger children up to age 7yrs).

Kitchen: Fully stocked gourmet kitchen on Main floor. Granite countertops. Microwave, two ovens, all stainless appliances, awesome dishwasher. Keurig and standard coffee maker, plus teapot.
Dining: Epic wooden dinner Table capable of seating 12 = plus lengthy bar with 4 premium bar stools. The 10ft long ‘Kings Court Table’ serves Castle guests in style. 16 will dine in elegance and spaciousness.
Front Covered Patios – Two floors with covered patio offer Beach and Ocean viewing, sounds of crashing gulf waves, and some fine Gulf Blvd people watching. Also, enjoy the weekend fireworks right on the front porch!

• Perfectly balanced HVAC system with ceiling fans in nearly every room make for a very comfortable indoor climate.
• Outdoor shower to make post beach rinse a snap.
• Fireworks: every Friday and Friday and Saturday night at 9:15pm – viewable right off of the covered front patio and master balcony!

NOTICES:
***INSTANT BOOKING RULE: Primary Guest must upload a 'fully signed' copy of Rental Agreement with Driver's license copy, within 48hrs of booking or host reserves right to cancel booking. Number of Guests and Pets must be accurately disclosed at time of booking, and match in rental agreement.
ADDITIONAL GUEST FEES: 18 Guests Standard. Up to 20 persons MAX with prior host approval. Additional fee of $70+tax/night for each person over the standard 18 will be calculated at time of booking. # of Guests claimed at time of booking MUST be accurate and match completed rental agreement guest list.
WET FLOORING: Floors can be extremely slippery when wet. For Safety, guests must dry off completely outside. Children should be VERY CLOSELY supervised.
STAIRS: There are many stairs, always climb at the sides of steps, and always hold the railings
***REGISTERED GUESTS ONLY: No other guests shall be at this house outside of the registered number on the rental agreement

**ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING INSIDE HOUSE: The inside is monitored via remote electronic sensors. Violation of this rule results in IMMEDIATE EVICTION by South Padre Island POLICE. Smoking is only allowed outside, on the porch.
**MINIMUM AGE TO RENT: Primary renter must be at least 29 years old, must be on-site for the entirety of stay. Booking individual must be actual owner of the email account used in their VRBO profile. Allowing a group to use your VRBO profile to book, or using another persons VRBO account is not allowed.
**MAX # CHILDREN RULE - 12** Note the Maximum number of children (17 or under) is 12. Check the House Rule language for more specifics before booking.
(*)NO CHARCOAL GRILLS, GRILLING Allowed anywhere on Property. Risk of FIRE !
**PETS: Max 2 dogs (no other type of pets allowed), up to 50lb each (possible exceptions upon owner approval),
*Guest is fully responsible for clean up after pet & vacuuming/sweeping all pet hair prior to departure.

2nd Floor Bedroom:
• Rec Room Bedroom - Main Floor bedroom with 1 Double bed, 1 small Queen bed, and ensuite private bath.
1st Floor Bedrooms (2):
• Queen 2 Master - Bedroom with 1 queen size bed, Heavy Duty Bunk Bed set with 3 twin size beds (including a pull-out Bunk/Trundle) and ensuite Private Bath. Sleep up to 5.
• Kids Bunkroom - Bedroom with Bunk Bed (2 twin beds - Children up to 150lb only) and private ensuite bath.
**1 additional Twin mattresses with foldout frame, plus 1 Air Mattress are readily available if needed. These tuck nicely out of the way into two of the large Master Suite closets on top floor, or set them up wherever you like to suit your groups needs.
