Perfect place for creating unforgettable memories with your family and friends as you experience South Padre Island.

Start your day with the sunrise, enjoying a cup of coffee on the oceanfront furnished balcony. After breakfast, take a morning stroll along the beach as the waves dance back and forth along the shoreline. In the evening return to the balcony to watch the sun set and after the sun goes down, take time to slow down and reconnect with those who matter the most in your life.

Natural light illuminates the living and dining rooms of this condo through multiple large windows. A great space for the whole party to spend time together comfortably. Continue to enjoy the views of the ocean while lounging on the cushy couch. In the evening, put your feet up while you watch a movie on the large “smart” TV.

Enjoy the generous countertop space and stainless-steel appliances as you whip up your favorite meals in the fully stocked kitchen. The dining table fits 4 guests comfortably, there are 3 additional seats at the breakfast bar. During your stay, savor a meal out on the balcony to continue to enjoy the incredible ocean views.

Wake up each morning to the breathtaking sunrise over the Gulf of Mexico while snug beneath the covers of the king size bed in the master bedroom. In the evening as you settle into sleep, watch a show on the mounted flat screen TV, as you drift off to sleep. The attached master bath has a sleek granite vanity with storage space below for toiletries. The tiled walk-in shower is inviting at the end of the day to rinse off from a day at the beach.

The guest bedroom has 2 full size beds, to ensure a restful night of sleep. In the afternoon take a break to rest on a comfy bed to read a book or take a nap. Guests staying in this room will love having their own remodeled attached bathroom. At the end of a fun-filled day take a hot bubble bath in the tub/shower combo to relax your tired muscles.

The Suntide ll Condominium Community offers a variety of amenities to enhance your relaxing getaway. Take a dip in the dazzling beachfront swimming pool (heated). Lounge chairs surround the sparkling pool to assist in attaining a sun kissed glow while you lie back and listen to the relaxing ocean waves dancing back and forth along the shoreline. Missing the sand between your toes, enjoy private direct ocean access to the soft sandy beach and crystal-clear Gulf of Mexico. Don't forget to bring your tennis racket for a thrilling game of tennis or a ball for sand volleyball. In the evening unwind in the hot tub as you gaze at the spectacular starry sky.

Great unit with view of the ocean

We had a great time in South Padre Island! The condo was spacious and had everything we needed, and then some. The kitchen is well equipped and there were more towels than announced. Beds were comfortable. The pool downstairs has been newly resurfaced and was nice, as was the hot tub. There are hoses to rinse off on the way back up from the beach. We also enjoyed the fireworks around 9pm.

Lovely home

This condo was so wonderful. It had a beautiful beach decor and a perfect top floor view of the beach/ocean. Host was kind, friendly, and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend staying here. We will most certainly book again next year.

Favorite condo in SPI!

Our condo at Sunside 2 was exactly as described—the reviews were also correct. The owner had detailed instructions for arrival and communicated throughout our stay if needed. The condo is very large for 2 adults and 3 teens. The view is outstanding. The condo is nicely updated and decorated with lovely touches. The pool was heated at a perfectly warm temp and the ocean felt great! Plus it was literally steps away! Washer/dryer easy and close to use. Lots of shopping and eating walking distance. The turtle conservation was maybe 10minutes away and SpaceX about 1.5 hours. We would love to stay again! We also enjoyed the tennis courts and the volleyball net.

Need a vacation rental in South Padre? Look No further

What can I say about this listing that hasn't already been said in the literal hundreds of stellar reviews? My wife and I stayed here in October 2024 and I can happily confirm the exceptional rating of this property on VRBO. The photos are 100% accurate to what you will see when you arrive. The condo building's location is fantastic. It is beachfront and conveniently located close to many restaurants and attractions. In fact, it's less than a 5 minute walk to Blackbeard's, one of the better restaurants on the island. The unit itself is in a great location within the building as you are on the top floor and close enough to (but not right in front of) the elevators. Are you more of a sunrise or sunset person? No need to decide... you get views of both with the beach facing balcony and front porch area, each with ample seating. Two of the most important factors my wife and I look for when choosing vacation accommodations is if the place is clean and in a safe area. This listing effortlessly checks both boxes. Most of all, the hosts are the nicest folks. They respond quickly to questions and are also proactive in providing information and checking in to see if you need anything. I highly recommend this listing and I imagine it goes quickly so if you see your dates available, don't hesitate or another renter may grab it! Thanks very much Chris for providing a wonderful lodging option for our stay in South Padre Island!

Pictures are worth a thousand words!

We always travel and always use VRBO. We frequent South Padre on a regular basis and this condo is the only one that we have said we would stay at again. Chris is great to work with. Communication is outstanding. The condo is as pictured. What you can’t see in the pictures is how clean and how well maintained this unit is. The view is priceless. The best beach in South Padre, in our opinion. Very near everything. The only comment I have, and this is nothing on the owner, when we return we will pack our travel Kuerig , but that is simply just our preference and what we like. Great job Chris… very nice property. owner

Cono was clean and well appointed. Condo building could use upgrades, elevator , washer dryer, hot tub jets not working etc. Condo unit adequate and well furnished and equipped. AC in master not working well, warmest room in condo. Nice balcony and view

Ocean view 10/10

The top consideration in this condo is location and view. It was SO nice to be beach side and be able to walk right out onto the beach and there wasn’t insane hotel or large condo crowds to deal with. Overall I’d state this condo was a great place to stay. It was clean, had all the little things you may need in the kitchen and the owner was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. My only con was the sleeping situation. Which I did not raise this issue to the owner so no shame to them. The mattresses were basically glorified air mattresses which wasn’t the best at the end of a beach day. The master bedroom is also 5-10 degrees warmer than the rest of the condo which the fan directly above your face helps at night but if you sleep hot it’s a rough adjustment. Overall I would recommend staying here, the balcony alone was worth it all being able to see the ocean when we couldn’t be on the beach with our 5 month old.
